Another lovely meal at Brasserie Blanc
Another lovely meal - I had the Malabar Fish curry and John had the mussels both were delicious and nice to see some different desserts instead of the usual ones on offer. I had the pink champagne rhubarb and custard with cinder toffee that was fantastic so definitely recommend that.
The trempettes were great, full of flavour. I tried as many variations as possible on the bread struggling to decide which was the favourite, the sweet balsamic, the creamy garlic mayo, the salty olive tepenade...it was just too close to call, they complemented each other perfectly. Who knew something so simple could taste so good.
This is our favourite place in Leeds great atmosphere and food great building .a must
Great food and service. Called last minute for New Year's Eve and this was a great meal, well done. Considering they catered for over 120 people, the mussels with the smoked haddock in a lemon sauce was to die for, the risotto starter was perfect this was followed by a perfectly cooked rump steak. The staff were very helpful and made us feel special.
I was so impressed I booked lunch the following Saturday, this didn't disappoint the beef stroganoff was again perfect.
The menu is priced to attract the food is excellent, so much so I've booked another couple of times.
Well done Brasserie Blanc
Leodis Revived. Mixed emotions when I went to Brasserie Blanc. One of my old favourite restaurants was Leodis that BB took over the premises from, but Leodis had gone down hill in recent years. So it was a shame to see the old go but good to see a revived place in this excellent location. The food did not disappoint. Great meat, first class wine and the atmosphere was as good as Leodis in its heyday.
Worth a visit!

Excellent thank you. The venison special was superb. Service very very good. From a UK restaurant sceptic.
We went to Brasserie Blanc after our wedding at the Registry Office for a celebratory lunch. The food was fantastic, very tasty, beautifully presented, and very filling! Really good value for money and the best restaurant for quality food in Leeds. Also a big shout out to the staff who were absolutely fantastic for our special day. The service was great, they were all so friendly and made sure everything was perfect for us. Thank you very much! Highly recommend coming here if you have a special event to celebrate!
Raymond Blanc's is definitely one of the best restaurants in Leeds city centre. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed and the food is absolutely delicious and is worth every penny. With so many fantastic restaurants to choose from in Leeds we still find ourselves returning to this lovely restaurant and always have our expectations exceeded. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and make every dining experience special. If you are looking for incredible food, exceptional service and beautiful surroundings then I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Thank you Raymond Blanc's for a wonderful meal and great experience, we are looking forward to returning very soon.
What a lovely restaurant.
Food was amazing, staffs are super nice (and good looking as well🫣🤫)
The best dish was the pork ribeye, very soft and tender, I enjoyed it so much
The only thing was that when we ordered the dessert and waited for 25 mins, then the staff said the order didn’t go to the kitchen so we need to wait another 6-8 mins, however, we waited another 20mins for that.
Since we waited for so long, they said the dessert was on the house, which is very nice of them.
Went with my four children for mother's day and it really was an amazing visit. As you can imagine it was very busy on this day and the staff were working hard but maintained a high level of great customer service. All were friendly and helpful throughout our time there.
All food was delicious and would definitely recommend the crab and sweet corn bonbons for starters.
My partner and I took my mum here for a birthday treat. We had already looked at the menu before hand and decided what we wanted. On arrival, the restaurant is located on the side of the river and, although it was dark and cold outside, I can imagine it would be lovely to sit outside in the summer and the restaurant had plenty of tables to do so. We ordered aperitif cocktails to start. These were delicious and refreshing. In hindsight, when the waitress asked if we were ready to order, we should have said no to give us more time to enjoy the cocktails. We didn't and ordered our starters and mains straight away. Service was very good and quick. Starters were scallops for me, a sausage and potato salad for my partner and fish soup for my mum. All were delicious and beautifully presented. My only complaint was that I wanted more scallops for the amount of puree. Mains soon followed which consisted of chicken curry and coconut rice for me, lamb for my partner and chicken ballotine for my mum. Again, all fantastic dishes, beautifully presented. My mum had a liquor coffee to follow, with my partner and I sticking to what we were already drinking, wine and whisky and coke. The final bill was £180 which I think is fantastic value for money. We will definitely be going back and would highly recommend
Loved the place, the food and atmosphere. Staff is absolutely amazing. They go the extra mile to attend guests' needs. I highly recommend Brasserie Blanc
Brilliant food selection and quality. Same with the wines. Waiter was brilliant, very knowledgeable and friendly. Only small downside being miss-genedered repeatedly by the person bringing the food out. Took the edge of an otherwise perfect meal
Had a delicious 2 course meal. I got the mushroom arancini starter and vegan cauliflower steak for main. The walnut paste was amazing and it was a good portion with sweet potato fries too. Little bit on the pricy side with starters basically costing £10 but it was tasty. Good service and very relaxing atmosphere. Good menu with lots of options including vegan ones and a full gluten free menu.
Lovely food …. Great wine ….. staff were attentive and friendly.
The atmosphere seemed to be lacking slightly …. Dined on a Friday night in October.
It was pleasant enough but didn’t standout enough for me to want to return when there are so many other eateries to sample!
We went for a Sunday lunch a couple of weeks ago and couldn't fault the service or food. Everything was delicious, it was nice to see a different vegetarian option for Sunday lunch too. My husband had the beef option and said it was very tasty. We will definitely be back.
