We had friends over last night and decided to have an indian takeaway. We had two places to choose from in Swillington. Wow did we make the right choice in the Grand Indian Lounge. 45 mins from order to plate. The food was amazing, well packed and piping hot. All labelled so there was no guessing when we got it home. There was no best bit - it was all fabulous. And the staff were so friendly too. We will definitely be back.
Can't recommend this place enough, food and menu are great, staff so friendly and accommodating, had a surprise party here last night and nothing was too much trouble. Will be back soon!!
Wow, what a lovely meal here! The mixed grill starter was amazing and the curries had a great flavour but were a little thick/dry.
Would try some different dishes next time and also try to go on a banquet set price evening - not sure what days of the week they are though.
Just returned from a lovely evening at Grand Indian Lounge with my husband and our 11 year old son. We took advantage of the Wednesday Special 4 course meal for £16:95 per person which is incredible value for money. The food was absolutely delicious and definitely the best Indian food, in our opinion, in the area. The only thing better than the food was the service! Every single member of staff spoke with us at some point and were so friendly and welcoming. We had a great evening and can't wait to return again soon!

What can you say about The Grand Indian that hasn’t been said. The food is impeccable, the staff are absolutely and always amazing delivering quality food with nothing being too much trouble. We will continue to visit here in the years to come.
Amazing service, been coming here years, finally decided to bring my small children, one who has allergies and they were so accommodating. Food is amazing and staff are very pleasent. One of my favourite places to eat.

Visited for the first time. Had a family member that had a birthday and the staff took the cake and played along with the surprise. The food was fantastic and the service impeccable. Best curry we have had for years. A must visit if you are in the area!!!
One of the best around Leeds 26, I normally go for a Madras, this time we had a chicken Bhuna and a Chicken Balti to see the difference. Not too hot, plenty of flavour, and the Garlic Nann was out of this world, well worth a visit, we will return at the end of August, but we can't make it any sooner due to work.
