We went to Spain a month ago, and Caracas Grill is still the best tapas I've had in years. Absolutely fantastic, cannot recommend enough.
Just had a lovely tasty meal here. Cosy place and delish food, friendly staff. Had a groupon deal as well, so was a bargain. Would definitely recommend, cocktails nice to! Had a hurricane!. Never had 1 b4, cud drink them all nite!. Thank u
Lovely hidden restaurant, great atmosphere and a very welcoming team providing quick service. Food was tasty and fresh, full of flavour, but unfortunately very salty ! I recommend the octopus dish and aubergine fritters. This place is on the pricier side but a great meal out for an occasion. The recommended 5 plates were not quite filling enough for two people. A lovely evening spent here though, I would come back!
Beautiful! The food the atmosphere the surroundings… had a meal there last night and was not disappointed. With drinks only came to £103 for 2 of us and we ate well! Actually we ordered too much. I loved that they recommended 3 plates per person but we like our food so did 4 😂
I won’t butcher the names but the steak, the chorizo and the chicken rolls were the main event for me.
Manchengo cheese was so delicious and the jam!!! Oh em gee!
Also first time having sangria in my life and it will continue to be a favourite.
Thank you to the staff for a memorable evening. I was so full but will be coming back for the churros as I just couldn’t eat any more. Never thought I’d say that sentence ever!
Oh and the sardines!!! I need to try the sardines!!! 😂
Can’t recommend this restaurant enough.
First time visit. Plenty of choice and the food tasted delicious. Took advice on the number of dishes to choose, 3 each. Mix of vegetarian, meat and fish options. My only negative comment would be for a reasonable quiet Saturday lunch the music was a little loud. Other than that, a great Tapas restaurant is a stones throw from the train station.
Fantastic service, very friendly staff and amazing food! Would definitely recommend coming here if you’re visiting Leeds!
Iron steak is beautiful and brilliant that you have to try. If you expect crispy bread with tomato on top then you have to lower your expectations here. The bread is truly in British. The garlic prawn is okay, normal range. The glass of red wine is good.
Starting off with the restaurant vibe, which is great as it’s dimly lit with each table separated at a good distance so no one can hear you or you hear theirs. However, when it’s busy, it can get a bit loud, especially when everyone’s had one too many sangria. The services and friendliness from the waiters were amazing, nothing else to add. Now about the food. Generally, the food was amazing and perfectly seasoned, but if I am to be critical, I’d say the lamb was a bit under seasoned as it was a bit bland. Personally, I wasn’t a fan of the flavour profile of the octopus, it was overly seasoned with chorizo flavour or smoked paprika, but if that’s what you like then it’d be suited for you. I highly recommend you get the aubergine fritta and steak, both absolutely delicious. The pricing is on the more expensive side, but the flavouring and quality justify it. If you’re a big eater like me, then expect a hefty bill because you’ll eat a lot! Overall, I highly recommend here.
Could not fault this place at all. Cannot wait for my next visit to this little gem. Service was exceptional and the staff were personable and friendly throughout. I would highly recommend this restaurant
Una maravilla! Possibly my new favourite spot in Leeds. The food is outstanding - the flavour of the jamón in the jamón croquetas came through perfectly balanced, and the aubergine was top notch. The service was amazing, so friendly, fast and professional - and great value for money as well. Can’t wait to come back!
I would definitely say this basement Tapas restaurant has a good atmosphere, less commercial than some, albeit in a good, maybe even authentic way. The dishes were provided promptly and the quality of the food was of a high standard. Two of which we enjoyed in particular was the Aubergine fritters and Chorizo al Vino (Spicy sausage, red wine, onions). On this occasion we visited during the week and would consider a return perhaps on the weekend in the future.
Amazing authentical food. Every dish (7 out of 7) was great. Meats were tender and juicy. Patatas crispy and spicy. Aubergine absolutely crazy - sweet, salty and piping hot. Same with chorizo and spot on croquettas.
We followed the recommendations of 3 taps per head and that's perfect amount.
We spent £75 in total with drink and desert and was absolutely worth it. We'll be back again.
