Someone knows what they are doing back in the kitchen. Food was well prepared and seasoned, high quality, and served hot. The service was spot on as well! We walked nearly 30 mins and back on the public paths and trails to get there. You can drive too, of course. A nice treat.

Really lovely old pub set in very nice area. Gardens were lovely as well. On the day we visited there was a marquee outside with greek food. Had gyros , chicken and halloumi ones, stuffed vine leaves and lamb koftas. All very good. Dog friendly.

We were looking for a pub with nice food and a good outdoor play area and we found one. The staff were friendly and although it was busy, the service was quick. There's a good selection of food and the items we ordered were delicious.

Danielle was a fabulous host. Very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. It was a special occasion to remember a family member and we were given our own area which was fab. Food was delicious everyone was happy with everything. Nice selection of local beers too. Overall excellent service and food and drink, would recommend for a family get together.

Lovely, cosy pub. Kids love the play area outside. Always have a great time here. Halloween decorations were fun. (Maybe a bit over the top in the loo as the children were scared of the "dead" teddy's.)

I was recommend this place by someone else and it did not disappoint! I went seeking a nice hearty lunch and the food was very delicious. The pie pastry was perfect and the filling even better. I had the apple crumble for desert and I think it's one of the best apple crumbles I've ever had. The waiter and waitresses were all very helpful and friendly and the pub has the rustic ambiance and charm of a country pub. I will definitely be returning

One of the best Sunday roasts I've had around the leeds area. The sides are to great but the 4 meat roast was as good as it gets. Will be back again!

Really good place! The food is excellent and the waiters are very professional and so kind. I love the decor and atmosphere of the place. The exteriors are great for kids too. A must see.

The service was first class. We reserved a table which was ready when we arrived. I went to the bar to order drinks and as it wasn't too busy the barman offered to bring them over to us which was a nice touch. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. With plenty of very well behaved dogs including one of ours. We then ordered food and the waitress explained the menu to us and let us know what was available, specials, and offered some advice. This was unprompted and very welcome. It's the sort of service I'm used to at high-end fine dining restaurants. The menu was a combination of pub classics and tapas style dish's. Neither section was too long so I didn't feel overwhelmed with choice. It still made choosing hard as I wanted everything. The food came quickly but was all freshly prepared. I had the sausage and mash which was delicious. The sausages were really tasty and the mash was creamy and smooth. The gravy was very tasty too and had a nice sheen to it. We also had pitta and homous, another tapas dish which I can't recall and the chicken schnitzel. As well as a children's pasta. Everything was really good. We decided to have desert and had the Oreo cheesecake. We ordered two between the table and had a children's portion of ice-cream. The cheese cake was, creamy with an Oreo biscuit base and an Oreo on top. I don't recommend sharing as they are a perfect portion for one and far to delicious to share. The staff were really attentive throughout our dinning experience. After eating we went to the play area to let the girls run off the sugar and as an added bonus the local cricket team had a home game on the adjoining cricket pitch. Definitely a pub I would recommend and one we will visit again.

Visited Myrtle Tavern with my beautiful partner on a lovely sunny day - really nice staff, great variety of outdoor seating, really good food menu with gluten free options and decent beer selection - a gluten free beer like the Kirkstall Brewery Virtuous on tap would be a bonus but no complaints really! If you take the Meanwood Valley Trail you can get a pint here on the way very easily.
