I went to the sherry dinner. The food was fantastic and visually stunning. The food and sherry for each course had been carefully selected to complement each other. The seating arrangements worked well, allowing the diners to mix. The staff as usual were attentive. There is a passion for food and customer service at Ambiente which transfers itself to the diner. Can't recommend this place enough!

The best tapas I’ve eaten in the UK! The menu has a great range of dishes- particularly for seafood. Incredible food and staff went above and Beyond- they were really friendly and made my boyfriend’s 30th a truly special occasion! I can’t wait to go back!
Love the food here, it's delicious and staff are very friendly but would like to mention that after the meal they could of checked on us a bit more as we needed to order drinks and pay, we had to go find the waiter, however it is December a busy time ! Would definitely recommend and will be going back to dine
Wow the set menu was great. The food just kept on coming! Highlight was the service. We had a party of 12 and one of us was a vegan and they served up a set menu especially for her. Another lady didn't like seafood so they made the a portion of paella without. Great

Came here for my “special birthday” the first thing I was asked was if I have allergies - yes shellfish / origin, the normal menu was brought to me with a separate one colour coding what I could have and what I couldn’t! Brilliant!
Staff great, clean, fab views, amazing food,fizz, cocktails, extensive sherry menu etc. Good value also - probably my favourite place In Leeds. Can’t wait to return.
Went for dinner on Tuesday with friends. Excellent food and the best Tapas in Leeds. Since the refurb the restaurant feels much more welcoming. We had a great night and would thoroughly recommend.
The staff were amazing. I'm allergic to a couple of things so set menus can be a nightmare but they went out of their way to make sure I was catered for. The food was great and so was the atmosphere. I would highly recommend the Christmas sharing menu. We will be back again for sure
Second year in a row for the Christmas tapas. Amazing service, ever better food. For the second year all the staff went above and beyond to ensure all members of the party were catered for. Highly recommend it and will he returning very soon!

Loved it....delicious food very friendly staff. It was quiet as Pride was on so food came quick. We had 3 dishes each which we shared. Teenage son tried all!! recommend beef skirt and lamb kebabs. Husband loved the paella. Will be going back. Very impressed.
BRILLIANT FOOD, BRILLIANT VIEW
My friend and I decided to dine here this afternoon and I was totally impressed! All members of staff were so charming and considerate - I really felt as though they cared about giving good service. The food was delicious, we shared 6 tapas between us on the lunchtime deal which was very reasonably priced. The view was fantastic - we sat on the balcony overlooking the canal. Overall, a lovely place to eat. We will definitely be returning - I cannot fault a thing. I don't usually write reviews but just felt that people should know about how good this place is. Thank you!
Brilliant varied menu, introducing more than just patatas bravas and albondigas - try the pigeon it's delicious! Great atmosphere, never failed to impress
Celebrating a birthday, we ordered almost 80% of the menu, and every dish was excellent.
They even surprised me with a small birthday cake 🎂.
Highly recommendable; we were all thoroughly satisfied with the variety of dishes we tried. We ordered two servings of Spanish paella as our main course, and all 11 of us had a great time.

We had a table booked at Ambiente for 1pm today to celebrate a birthday; none of us had eaten there before but the menu was amazing with so much choice.
Every member of staff was friendly and attentive, particularly supportive and aware re allergies.
The paper menu has lots of information for each dish but there is also an allergy card with QR code to check more details regarding allergens.
The suggestion is 3-4 tapas dishes per person, but the portions are pretty big so we could have had 2 each and still been full. The desserts are also generous portions.
The food was brought out when each dish was ready, so lots of opportunity for sampling different flavour combinations.
Genuinely cannot fault any aspect of the meal as it was perfectly cooked, looked good and tasted divine.
Our meal for 3, including 2 alcoholic drinks, 9 tapas dishes, 2 desserts, 2 coffees and a tea was just over £100 including service charge which I thought very reasonable.
I would be happy to eat there as a solo diner, maybe for a light lunch.
Will definitely be back!
We have been coming here since it first opened and have visited for our anniversary many, many times but our visit last night was the best yet. The knowledge of the sherry was impressive but so much more impressive was the food. To say how super busy it was, the food was cooked absolutely perfectly! Favourites included stunningly cooked calamari and ham and cheese croquettes. My partners favourite was the sea bream fillet. But our stars were the aubergine parmigiana which just tasted gorgeous and the mussels (bread is a must to mop up the best sauce!)
It was just a brilliant experience from start to finish!
Absolutely loved this place! Me and my boyfriend booked here last minute on a whim and it turned out to be the best tapas we’ve ever had. We ordered a mixture of meat, veggie and plant based dishes and they were all fab. Our favourites were the patatas bravas, honey feta and the chicken chorizo skewers. We recommend the millionaire brownie too, so so good! Amazing place for meat eaters and veggies! All the staff were super friendly and accommodating too. Highly recommend.
Good location, walkable from the city centre. All dishes are delicious and worth 5 stars. We had a day trip in the city and randomly selected this place. To our surprise, the food was well above our expectations, only to mention that the entrance to the restaurant and to the toilets are stairs and there is no lift for prams.
A really nice authentic tapas restaurant, there is a large range of food to choose from catering to all different dietary requirements. The dish sizes are all very generous and three dishes is plenty to fill you up.

Amazing food and even more amazing staff!!
We were a large party, and they took care of us so well! They even agreed to take our food order a couple of days in advance! They were attentive, always smiling, and were happy to accommodate any needs we had. The food itself was delicious, flavourful, fresh but the lovely staff made it even better. We were there for a birthday, they helped us bring out the cake, and made it all super lovely! We left them a big portion of cake between them as they were so nice! Great food and amazing service! 10/10 would definitely go again.
Arrived a little early to a booking, a waiter named Michael was very welcoming and got us to a table for drinks whilst we waited for our food table. He gave us recommendations and passionately explained the specials to us. All the food was delicious, will be coming again.
Visited for my husband's birthday. Staff were very warm and welcoming throughout. We were told to order as we went along but we couldn't help just ordering all our plates at once. Every single plate was delicious and my husband even chose to have a second portion of mussels whilst I enjoyed a dessert. Definitely a must visit when in Leeds. Extremely good value for money.
