Nice quiet pub with nice food. Beer about £5 and menu on the quality side. So a nice place to take the better half.

Came across this place by accident on a Saturday afternoon. What a gem! Absolutely loved my steak n ale pie (one of the best pies I’ve tasted) and my hubby was equally pleased with his fish n chips! The pub has a lovely atmosphere, stylish decor and friendly staff. There’s plenty of tables with dining upstairs too and there’s a lovely beer garden. Great menu with plenty of choice and we can’t wait to go back and try the Sunday roasts. Highly recommended.

Excellent pub with a great choice of beers. On two levels with a out side balcony.. I haven't tried the food yet, but will soon. Menu looks interesting.

Went on a Tuesday night. It was still a good atmosphere with plenty in. Table booked for 20:30, we were early, the staff were more then accommodating. Food was 100% top dollar. Fantastic food. Simple but full menu. Staff were excellent and friendly. We will certainly be going again 👍

Absolutely delicious food! We had the Sunday roast and the steak and ale pie, and then shared the sticky toffee pudding. Everything we had was amazing , and the quality of the food was top notch, and the service was quick. I would definitely recommend this place for food and drinks!

A terrific venue with a great choice of ales set in a stunning location by the Minster. Only here for the beer so can’t comment on the food. A Leeds Brewery House although other guest ales are available. Top knowledgeable bartender gave me some excellent recommendations where else to visit - much appreciated 👍🏻

Weekend away in Leeds with my mother and sister. Booked in based on google reviews and we were not disappointed! I chose the vegan starter, not because I’m vegan….I’m not… it just sounded amazing and it was! Both my mother and sister equally enjoyed their starters. I had the mushrooms, mother had the mussels and my sister had the mackerel pâté each one of us said their own starter was to die for. For mains we all went for the Sunday roast beef, the Yorkshire puddings alone, give the meal 10 out of 10 I like a smaller meal and asked for a children’s portion which was perfect for me, both my mother and sister had full adult size portions and we all had to leave some on the plate. There was just too much but the vegetables were fresh. The meal was hot. The beef was good. I asked for some more gravy which we got no bother. Fantastic Sunday roast.

I’ve eaten here a few times and really enjoyed it but this wasn’t quite up to standard. Unfortunately our waitress was miserable and walked off before completing our drinks order, then did the same with the food - she must have been having a bad day 🤷🏻‍♂️ The food took about 50 minutes to arrive to which was painful as our table of 4 were particularly hungry after an afternoon of shopping. Lastly, the food wasn’t very warm either 😔 It was very tasty though and looked the part as you can see from the pics. 4 star rating still though given the strength of previous visits - it would have 3 had I not been before. It’s also a really lovey venue and I’m sure we’ll be returning again.
