Thai Sun

Wow! We ordered a take away for collection from Thai sun. First of all, let me tell you this is the best meal I’ve had in 2024 (maybe 2023 but I can’t remember half of them). The meat on the ribs was so tender and everything was packed full of flavour. I feel super lucky to have this around the corner. Beats any other Thai I’ve had over the years comfortably. They even threw in some free chicken satay. Thank you so much team at Thai sun. I cannot wait to bring my family over for a meal in the restaurant. Which is beautiful btw!

Service is great 👍🏻, no service charge 👏 ! Food tastes authentic! A bit expensive for what it is (menu online is not updated). Fish is £17.99, which is a bit more expensive and smaller than other Thai restaurants, noodles is £8.99, a bowl of rice is pretty expensive - £3.65 (can’t remember exactly but more than £3), thai milk tea is £3.95.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ Thai Sun is UNREAL. Id say that out of all the takeaways I’ve ever had it’s the most consistent by a mile- and we’ve ordered from here pretty much every week for the last 2 years, It’s THAT good. I’ve never even remotely had an order messed up or lacking in anyway and that’s rare for any establishment to follow through with such consistency. We have eaten in the restaurant and absolutely loved it- food really fresh, attentive service without overbearing and all super friendly. Admittedly thought I do tend to grab takeaway more often, only because I work in hospitality so like to eat at home. A really really nice touch is that once you’ve placed your order online, they give you a call back to confirm it and give you accurate waiting times so you’re not sat around guessing, not seen many other places doing that at all! and the delivery drivers are all super nice too! Again, rare 😂 As I say, working in hospitality it’s easy to see where there’s system errors or service issues, but honestly I have nothing negative to say about Thai Sun whatsoever or its staff. The chefs even take the time to clean the prawns properly 😅 and you’d be amazed at how many places don’t! They all clearly care and take pride in what they do. They deserve and have earned every star. Give them a try you will not regret it! We Recommend/ Our Faves: - weeping tiger. - salt and pepper ribs (these are not deep fried- they’re fall off the bone soft) - yellow curry - green curry - mixed platter for 2 - Som Tum Salad

Had takeaway. Which is why I didn't rate the atmosphere. Food was great! The lady said that it would be 50 mins for delivery as they were busy and she was exactly right. We have had several meals in the past and all have been delicious. I would definitely recommend the food either in the restaurant or take out.
