Decent bottomless brunch the cocktails were pretty good. It was busy so service was slow waiting 15/20mins for a refill so we only managed 5 drinks. Food was really nice and so much of it too we are stuffed!

I had a fantastic experience at Almost Famous in Leeds. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the visually appealing, urban-style decor that created an inviting atmosphere.
What immediately stood out was the food. The burgers are a celebration of flavour, with juicy patties and perfectly balanced toppings that create a harmony of taste. Each bite was an absolute joy. The fries were another delightful surprise. Crisp, golden, and seasoned just right, they were the perfect accompaniment to the burgers.
The cocktails deserve a special mention. Creative, beautifully presented, and packing a punch, they added a touch of sophistication to our dining experience. The taste was sublime, indicating a real talent behind the bar.
However, I must say, the service could have been a tad faster. While the staff were friendly and accommodating, the waiting time for the food was a bit more than anticipated. I'd recommend having a bit of patience when you visit, but I assure you, the food is worth the wait.
Later in the evening, the music volume increased, which made conversation a little challenging. But if you're a fan of lively atmospheres, this might actually add to your experience.
In conclusion, Almost Famous delivers a deliciously memorable culinary experience, albeit with a slightly slow service and loud music. But, if you're up for excellent burgers, tasty fries, and outstanding cocktails, you should certainly give it a try!

Really enjoyed this experience, from start to finish. The food was lovely and tasted exceptional. Staff were excellent, well manored, and happy to help with any reasonable requests you have. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.

What can I say, the best place 4 big burgers, good variety, super tasty, a great variety of fries, waffles and tater totts, wings and blasts (strips) all with the most amazing toppers and sauces. If you haven't been you need 2 and won't be disappointed.

Lovely place, party of 13 went, we had to wait a while for our food even though it had been pre-ordered. The burgers were delicious, I can't say the same for the chips/waffles. We all chose different, I chose the pizza waffle fries & they nearly broke my teeth they were that hard, not enjoyable at all, don't think any of us really liked any of the fries, but all enjoyed the burgers
Nicholas Beaver
Food's good, and appreciate the fries being a mix of normal and sweet potato as standard, but £11.50 for a burger smaller than my hand is on the expensive side.
Asaf Sagi
Good burger place (they don't serve much else apart from burgers, fries and wings).
I ordered the Awesome HQ, which was tasty but I felt like the meat was slightly overdone. The sauces and cheese kept it from being dry, so that's ok.
The Phoenix Fries were great, though. There was enough mess on top of the fries so that I could assemble a perfect bite each time :)
If you're not extremely hungry, it's possible to share a meal with another person and still come out full.
Do mind that the service is a bit slow.

£35 bottomless brunch
Omg, the food was lush and there was so much never have we left food before at a brunch.
Good variety of cocktails the server was great and kept us going with drinks it was a busy Saturday so did expect it to be a bit slower but it wasn't. very good highly recommend xxx

Went for my sister's birthday as it was her choice of restaurant.
She and everyone else loved it. The cocktails were class, enjoyed the little thematics on the cherry bomb.
Staff were lovely and provided a warm service and extra surprise for the birthday 🥃

I LOVE SWEET FRIED POTATO
Lunch deal was £10 burger + fries
Burger is good, fries are the BEST
Sanitary is pretty low, I had to wipe my cup a couple of times to get dirty gunks off. Table surface is sticky and greasy.
Building’s exterior is a bit hard to be noticed

I wasn’t in the mood to eat out but really fancied a good burger and fries.
We ordered a take away burger each and loaded fries each.
We had a juicy double, a blame it on the whiskey, some pizza fries and phoenix fries. All a great choice and cannot recommend enough!
Thomas Sandford
Amazing burgers, quite pricey, especially since they don't come with sides included. They are, however, still decent value since they're big portions. Definitely one of the better burgers in Leeds.
Ceri Boddis
Tasty food with plenty of options. Burgers are expensive (sides to pay for separately) but don't get a side each, get some to share as big portions. Quite a student-y place to go but didn't impact the atmosphere. We arrived a bit later for food and service wasn't outstanding but welcoming enough. Food made up for it though. Bonus for us was we went on National Burger Day so burgers were half price so this helped with the cost but otherwise the price would have been a lot more

Wanted to get this place out after seeing the YouTube review by rate my takeaway as looked good. Have to say the food is absolutely amazing. The burger was so juicy and the loaded fries were the tastiest Fries I’ve ever had.
Love the quirky decor.
Will definitely be back here again in the future.

The food was a little slow to arrive but it was busy to be fair. The food came out in plastic baskets as most fast food burger joints. However the burgers were all spiced and our10 year olds full size and price burger was too hot to eat. Also my chicken was the only option for a other meat option was also too spiced and I had to leave at least half of it. They only serve two deserts both of which were ice cream so very limited. The other three enjoyed their burgers and the fries were great. Nice for a one off but would not return as there are better burgers available at a similar price.

Fantastic food... Probably the best burger and fries 🍟 🍔 I have ever eaten (I have eaten a lot of burgers)... The festive menu was great value too... Festive Shot, Cocktail, Burger and Fries £22.50... Highly recommended!...
Carl Lodziana
Love this place. Everytime ive been its been awesome. The food is amazing and the service has been good. Blame it on the vodka and bacon bacon fries are the best!
Luke Wookie Graham Cousin
First visit. Great food and service. Definitely recommend for burger fans and big eaters! Spent around £20 for burger, milkshake and fries (but worth it).
Cling Clingo
You don't need words just go eat....then go back again and eat more...Burgers and dressed fries to die for...but don't die or you will be unable to go back and enjoy this place.
Lee Millington
The food is great, the service is average. Bacon, bacon fries are to die for.. Probably literally with the salt fat and calories involved
Sophie Peel
Food was delicious and they do a fab £10 lunch deal which is well worth the money. The service however was very poor. Think the waiters need a few lessons in giving great customer service. Friendly and welcoming service goes a long way and will keep customers coming.
Adz Robins
Food - out of this world! Burgers to di for and the chips I had that were covered in some red sauce, cheese and pepperoni were a meal in themselves.
Service for a sole diner - terrible! Was taken to a table immediately and then left there for over 15 minutes as though I had the plague as numerous members of staff walked past and completely ignored me. Whether or not they thought others were joining me they should have asked me but to just leave me left me very uncomfortable as all other tables were full of parties of people. This needs serious addressing so I hope someone from the restaurant reads this.
A shame as what they serve is fantastic - just made to feel a Billy no mates by the staff and not worth the same as all the other tables.
Imogen Dodds
Maybe the best burger I have ever ever had in my life
And bacon bacon fries !! Oh my lord !!! Immense
Kathryn Smith
Compared to other Burger places in Leeds this is probably the worst and most over priced... £12 for a burger that didn't even come with chips and my boyfriends burger was demolished in under a minute... honestly looked like something from McDonalds!
Adam Hill
Nice cocktails (drank from the Leeds loves Cocktails menu), good music, food was good, especially the mac and cheese balls, but was on the pricier side for what is was.
Emily Mackenzie
Absolutely delicious. One of the best burgers I have ever had hands down and really quirky little place. I hate that I live 5 hours from Leeds because I can't have these burgers all the time!!
Kev Sheard
Fries were salty as hell! Yes, that old con trick to get people to buy more drinks. When I followed up with polite feedback that salt should be optional, the manager never even had the courtesy to reply. Very poor show and shows a lack of interest in their customers. Burger was good, but the fries dangerously inedible. Haven't they heard of blood pressure or other salt related problems? Do they even care about that?? Apparently not #MakeSaltOptional !
Laura Nevins
Great burger & fries! The let down was the service, took ages to take our order! Also could barely have a conversation as we had to shout over the music, not sure why it was so loud! Good job the food was good!
Luke Stirk
Been coming here years, but very disappointed this time. 20 minute wait to take our order. 20 minute wait for drinks to arrive. An hour wait for the food to come. Food was cold when it finally arrived. Music too loud couldn’t have a conversation. Might be the last time we come
Roxanna Reay Paterson
burgers are lush, me and my bf ordered the river phoenix and chilli burgers with pig waffle and chicken waffle fries. they brought our fries and they were wrong, we didn't say anything though cos it all looked ok. we ordered extra drinks and they forgot about us, we waited about 15 min so we paid and left. mint food but slow, forgetful staff making silly mistakes.
Garry Carr
Burger was ok but a bit sloppy, overpriced for what it was. Chips had an heart attack amount of salt on, tight with sauce, drinks were a bit more interesting, ok for a visit but not a repeat
LucyJenna Tear
Had a cocktail master class for 7 of us with the bar man Tom for my 21st, would recommend to anyone! Brilliant service and brilliant food. What more could you want.

Absolutely gorgeous place! The butterfly chicken burger was perfection

I chose the River Phoenix, was yummy! No issues with service, but it was a quiet night. I can recommend the Bitch Juice too!
George Street
Awesome burgers, prompt service! Burger filled me up for the whole day and ate at midday! Nice lager on tap, chilled atmosphere. Can't complain!!
John Falcon
If you like burgers, you'll love it here. The choice is amazing and a great selection of beers and cocktails to wash it down with.
Mike Zilla Scaife
In-fucking-credible! Best shakes ever and over flowing tasty burger!

Visited for the first time yesterday. The food was really good and service was pretty good as well. Hope to visit again in the future.

Always amazing food. Best burgers in Leeds hands down. Great atmosphere and reasonably priced
Rosario Jeodezza

Mick Taylor

Darren J Parnell
£10 lunch is a great deal. River Phoenix burger was amazing.
Breadsticklers
In a brioche bun you'll find applewood smoked cheddar cheese, bacon, grilled onions, Doritos, million island dressing, chipotle ketchup, a couple of beef patties all topped with a deep fried ball of Mac and cheese....The conclusion: just another burger place. Nothing too special.
Natalie O.
High praise for high quality.
Amazingly good Chicken Burger, in a briche bun (best kind).
Happy to adapt it to avoid my allergies.
Happy to add alcohol to a milkshake for childish adult drinks,
Happy to let us sit and catch up witrh each other well after we had finished eating.
Awesome posters around the restaruant.
Generally a whole load of thumbs up for this place.

I had been avoiding this place because I'd seen some photos to the opening on the net. I think it was along the lines of photos of customers and their fun reactions. Whatever it was it had put me off going. For so long.
What made me change my mind? We went to Meat Liquor last week and thought we'll try this one since it's supposed to be one of 'the burger places' to go. I had heard mixed reviews.
So... It's nice enough. Seems a bit mass produced/ a bit fake?i know they have one in Manchester so maybe they are a chain. Decor is a bit try hard. Guess if you're under 30 you might appreciate the anti art mash up. I think the decor is already starting to look dated.
Menu, where should I start with that? Yeah it's for teenagers. Mish mash of all sorts of rubbish. Not just the food items- Cheerios and razzles in your burger? Or hotdogs 'on' your fries? The menu was made up BS. Not just the combos of food but also the menu itself. Throwing things like 27% juicier beef in there is pure BS. The menu was like having a salesman at your door selling you everything and the kitchen sink.
I'm just going to graze over the food because I'm getting bored of moaning about this place. I had cherryade- super sour. We had the fries that came with hotdogs on top. It also had s@@@ loads of mustard on top and and they were also coated in seasoning, so the whole thing was salty as hell. The burger I chose had BBQ sauce which was also salty as S@@@. FFS.
That's all I'm going to say about this place. If you're under 25 or eat have a heavy salt diet you'll love this place. Looking around that night it did indeed look like all the clientele were under 25. The whole place is like an advert from the 80s. Make up as much BS as you want and people will believe you, because kids these days think that's hip.

Celebrated 2 friends birthdays here at the same time so we had a MASSIVE table for 15 people! You can't book but we were seated really quickly and they were really good about it. We had a drink while we were waiting (loved the old-fashioned caramel cocktail!), the bar staff were super friendly and joke-y which was nice.
Like I said, we got seated much sooner than we expected in the upstairs bit (the atmosphere in the lower level looked better but they couldn't fit us in). The menu is cool! Loads of variations on the originals and I'd heard a lot about the fries... I had a chicken burger with marmite fries. Yep, you read that right, marmite fries! Other people had bacon bacon fries which is basically a basket of fries with bacon bits and bacon-mayo which was also great (only could only manage a few though!). Burger's looked great (I don't eat beef but I was told they were great!), mine was good, not spectacular really, but I'd recommend it for burger lovers!
Really nice surprise and a lovely evening!

My sons found this place .... So glad we did .. What a fabulous relaxed place. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful.. The food was delicious .. A wide range of different huge burgers .. To which my sons were in their element ..Now I don't normally eat in a place like this as I'm a veggie so I didn't think they'd have anything exciting on the menu but I was wrong I was offered a Mac and cheese burger .. Veggie of course and I can honestly say it came up trumps ..it is a little more expensive than the normal burger joint but A great place to meet with family and friends.. The only down side.. The tables have a display of all sorts of sweets but under glass so you can see them but not eat them!!! So be warned when you take your kids there

The Super Cali was fantastic, loved the jalapeño and avocado. The mac and cheese balls were nice but the Alcoholic Milk shake topped it all off. Probably the best burger in town.
