A little digging online and I soon found out that the Handmade Burger Company had opened up a Manchester chain on Deansgate so I thought it worth a visit to the established Leeds restaurant to see if it was a new star or a wet lettuce. The restaurant is very modern and inviting from the outside and there was no queue either. Seeing as my friend and I were in a rush this encouraged us to eat here and we were swiftly shown to our table.
Made a visit to Leeds Trinity with a friend on a Sunday and stopped by this place.
Service was excellent and timely with water provided free of charge. You do pay a premium price for not quite premium quality burgers, with chips having to be ordered separately. However the burgers are fresh and hand pressed.
There was plenty of seating available and a nice, cozy atmosphere in which to hang around. Not the best burger I've ever had but a decent place with lovely and friendly staff.
Lovely quite atmosphere during lunch hour.
Staff are really friendly and the can cook halal chicken & beef upon request.
We ordered the Mexican Burger and Peri-Peri Burger with cheesy fries.
Burgers are pricey at £9.95'ish each and don't come with a side or drink. But are very filling.
Paid parking is available around trinity. (Pricey)
Came here for lunch last week, and had a lovely meal.
The food took just under 10 minutes to arrive and both my friend and I had the smaller burgers but we were still full from our portions.
I was happy with the sides and the burger patties themselves. However, the bun which the burgers came in were very cheap and similar to that from supermarkets. They also arrived somewhat soggy due to the heat of the burgers.
Overall happy with the food and prices. Just wish the bun was a similar quality to the burger patties.
This was my very first time I ate in Leeds and it was a brilliant choice. The staff is kind, the atmosphere is great and the burger was delicious. You get a lot for what you pay. I can honestly recommend the peanut butter and bacon burger :)
There is a wide choice of veg burgers, and the one I chose was delicious! Sides are great as well. Good quality for the price. Location is nice, inside a beautiful shopping centre.
Nice burgers and lovely desserts. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Fast service, the Burger tasted great
(as far as I'm aware the chicken is halal not any of the other meats )
Paid about £10 For a burger chips and a drink
Burgers were gorgeous and staff very professional and attentive. Is fairly pricey, as sides are extra. Wouldn't eat here regularly because of that, but nice for a special treat. Had to wait a while for a table, but that's probably a good sign that the wait is worth it, and food-wise we weren't disappointed. Was just short of £50 for 3 adults, each having a burger, side and drink, so as I said earlier, not extortionate, but not cheap enough to eat regularly.
Nice burgers with enough vegan options.
I would recommend this place if you are simply hungry for a quick meal.
The burgers are clearly marked on the menu for allergies and dietary requirements.
The place is located in Trinity mall so there's more than enough around to keep you entertained.
All in all quality is good veggies are fresh and the buns are like they should.
Have a bite here and shout if you like it!
Been here several times since moving to Leeds earlier this year. The staff are very efficient and really friendly, couldn't ask for more from them really.
The food is good, if you've been to a Handmade Burger Co. before then you know what you're getting. For me personally they're nice burgers, but not amazing and considering that this is their main focus I would expect to be really impressed.
Still, I enjoy coming here and will visit again.
