Dine in cafe, restaurant and gift shop all in one building. It's a popular venue selling quirky, crafty home interior novelty gifts. The menu is varied and alcholic is sold along with different varieties of hot drinks.The staff are kept busy but remain friendly and helpful. Outdoor seating is provided with scenic views on offer and the sound of bird song to be heard. The pricing is a bit expensive, but you do get the quality,quantity, service, and atmosphere to compensate for the cost. Although you are in a city, It's like sitting on the edge of the countryside.
Really lovely visit. Everything was great.
My only niggle is that the (shared) toilet room needs an update. It doesn't match the rest of the place, looks neglected although was reasonably clean.
Visited for the first time on Sunday and had a lovely lunch.
There was a choice of 1-3 courses for Sunday lunch and all were good value for money.
Service was prompt and the food was piping hot when it arrived at our table.
We both had the beef Sunday lunch and were impressed with the quality of food and how fresh it tasted. Portions were generous and there was no skimping on the gravy either.
Nice little gift shop to browse on the way out too.

Lovely food (the French Onion soup was much adored on our table) and super friendly staff.
A fun night out with the girls. Food was lovely and the chocolate cake was delicious. We had gone for the Murder night. The entertainment was amazing we all enjoyed it.

Always a pleasure to come here good service with a smile and it's only place my mum e joy her breakfast and eats most of it which good as she is a very poor eating
Really pleased with the quality of the food and value for money. Service was good on the whole, although slow to be served when It did not seem overly busy.
