Staff excellent and helpful 👍 very knowledgeable could not do enough they sell some beautiful plants
We are quite regular visitors to Lumby garden centre.
It is not very big, compared to some others in the area, but
It always a decent selection of plants, equipment and ornaments. A d a really nice cafe.
On this occasions however, we did not go in because it was so packed (bank holiday) I would suggest a quieter time for coffee and browsing..
My favourite garden centre I the area.
Only went in for toast ! Was met by friendly staff with a smile, lovely toast, white bread and butter tasted high quality. Will be returning to try more of the menu and to experience the high level customer service. Well done to owners and staff 😁
Parking up was a issue at first. Took a while to find a spot. No disabled spots. I'm in a wheelchair so was very difficult.
Looking at the garden centre I was worried because it looked quite small and worried incase I wouldn't get around in my wheelchair. But I was pleasantly surprised.
They had everything from cards, paint, eggs, tools, plants, cakes, veg, plant pots and even furniture. The cafe was open due to the restrictions. I haven't been in a cafe in over a year I've been shielding. They were brilliant very friendly and space for wheelchairs. They had gf and vegan options
Inly thing that was worrying was the lack of masks from staff and also customers. No signs to mention masks. Which made me quite uncomfortable. I will come back again it's a lovely garden centre very impressed
My car overheated on the motor way I had left Radiatior cap off 😂
I managed to get off the motorway and ended up in Lumby garden centre car park just as they were closing !
Fortunately the staff were very help full and gave me sufficient water to refill my radiator - very very grateful for the help from these guys , can’t thank you guys enough

Great garden centre with a good selection of everything a gardener could want. Staff are friendly and gelpful and there's a nice cafe too.
I think they should look at selling more locally farmed/produced food as I'm sure they be a hit. :-)
Lots to buy and a great cafe too. Service helpful and polite. The plants I've bought from here have lasted ages!
I have a new garden to plant. I found most of what I needed at Lumby garden centre at reasonable prices. I asked for help to find something n taken straight to it.
Lovely plants & lots of stock! Awesome cafe & prices not high. We will be back again.... soon!
Friendly helpful staff. Excellent choice of plants and shrubs that are well kept in excellent condition and a very good Caffè that serves good food and hit drinks
