We love this friendly garden centre . Went at Christmas to choose our tree and they left us alone for a while whilst l persuaded my husband that we badly needed this perfect tree.! Although a bit larger than intended it was an amazing shape . Ten minutes later they had trimmed the bottom to fit our base and delivered it , placed it in position and trimmed the top . What a brilliant service from two very happy and smiling young men . The garden centre also sells the freshest plants in the area .The tree is still as fresh today as it was when they delivered it .

Lumby garden centre is probably one of the best in the area, it is well travelling that extra mile. Try their excellent cafe during your visit too. I don't think you will be disappointed. I will certainly go there before any other.

Lovely place to stop for a meal, just off A1 junc 42, so ideal as an alternative to M-way services. Main meals £8.95, all freshly cooked, highly recommended. The garden centre is very good too with a healthy selection of trees and shrubs.

I recently visited Lumby Garden Centre and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The diverse collection of plants and flowers caught my eye immediately. From vibrant blooms to sturdy shrubs, they offer a fantastic variety, and what's even better is that the prices are fair and reasonable. It's a win-win for both garden enthusiasts and budget-conscious shoppers. The layout of the Garden Centre is well thought out, contributing to a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience. Navigating through the aisles is a breeze, and the cleanliness adds to the overall pleasant ambiance. It's evident that the staff takes pride in maintaining a tidy environment, making it easy for customers to explore without any obstacles. What sets Lumby Garden Centre apart is not just its greenery but also the impressive collection of garden accessories and decorations. The assortment includes everything from stylish plant pots to appealing garden furniture. It's a one-stop-shop for those looking to add the perfect finishing touches to their outdoor spaces. I was pleasantly surprised to find a section dedicated to produce, and the prices were just as fair as the rest of the offerings. This thoughtful addition adds extra value for customers who might want to pick up fresh, locally sourced items while shopping for their garden needs. Parking is often a concern, but Lumby Garden Centre has it covered with ample space for cars. No need to stress about finding a spot – convenience from start to finish. In summary, Lumby Garden Centre earns its rating with flying colors. The excellent plant selection, well-organized layout, diverse garden accessories, fair-priced produce, and hassle-free parking make it a standout destination for anyone looking to enhance their gardening experience. I'll definitely be returning for my future greenery needs.

We're not local to the area but stopped in to pick up some things whilst visiting nearby. Loads of things to see and it's a really big place! One small issue was there was no clear signage to help find things, it was just a case of wandering aimlessly. Café was nice and the breakfast was pretty decent although the electric menu boards as you walk in weren't great as you had to stand there waiting for it to flip over to the page you wanted and then the page changed again before you had chance to read it!

Smashing cottage pie. They also had gluten free bread. Slight delay on food coming out but it was very busy. Staff are lovely and so helpful.

Parking up was a issue at first. Took a while to find a spot. No disabled spots. I'm in a wheelchair so was very difficult. Looking at the garden centre I was worried because it looked quite small and worried incase I wouldn't get around in my wheelchair. But I was pleasantly surprised. They had everything from cards, paint, eggs, tools, plants, cakes, veg, plant pots and even furniture. The cafe was open due to the restrictions. I haven't been in a cafe in over a year I've been shielding. They were brilliant very friendly and space for wheelchairs. They had gf and vegan options Inly thing that was worrying was the lack of masks from staff and also customers. No signs to mention masks. Which made me quite uncomfortable. I will come back again it's a lovely garden centre very impressed
