Booked ad hoc for a party of 8 including 4 children - food was amazing, service was brilliant, kids play area inside and out. Literally cannot recommend a more family friendly pub. Our waitress was Abby who was hilarious and very good at her job. I love a waitress or waiter that I can connect with and more importantly the kids can’t connect with, and that was Abby. Icing on the cake was the packaged sweets available to buy . Thank you so much team

Come here for lunch with a group of friends! Had sone really nice food! Plenty of vegan options as majority of our party was vegan. Lovely atmosphere and beer garden and reasonably priced.
We visited the mustard pot as a group of 4 ladies catching up over drinks and food. I haven’t been in years but I could clearly see the changes the new landlady has made already and it looks amazing. Warm and inviting with lovely little finishing touches. I had the steak and ale pie and it was so delicious. Sadly I had no room for pudding but I shall be returning very soon to try out desserts! The service was 10/10, the waiter was friendly and very attentive. The atmosphere in the pub that evening was friendly, cosy and inviting. A new addition to the pub is a small area for children to play..absolutely fantastic idea and so nice to see a family friendly pub! I hear the cakes they do on a morning are also delicious..my toddler and I will be trying that very soon. Well done to the new landlady, my family, friends and I can’t wait to return!
I popped in to the Mustard Pot for an impromptu beer (or two) and burger. The new range of beers brought in by the new land-person is way better (very much enjoyed the Neck Oil) and the burger that just emerged is so good that I wanted to review it before I’d even finished it. It tastes like it’s fresh off a barbecue, and was so tall that I had to tackle it with a knife and fork. The staff have been attentive and very upbeat, and the music has been excellent. Absolutely excellent…get yourselves down.
Fantastic venue and great food. New owners have really done a really good job. It’s a great location in the heart of Chapel A. Ordered the beef and it came out absolutely perfect. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back. Don’t usually do reviews but this place deserved one!
So pleased I searched on Google and The Mustard Pot jumped out at me as it's dog friendly.
It certainly was, 2 jars of treats where we waited to be seated. We hadn't booked but luckily we were offered a table.
I had roast beef dinner which was excellent. In fact one of the best I have had. The beef was cooked to perfection.
My husband had haddock and chips. He thoroughly enjoyed his meal.
Our dog was welcomed and she was well behaved in a spacious corner.

Went with a group for lunch on Saturday. The waiting staff were really attentive and friendly and there was an extra special atmosphere as there was a wedding party taking place with an amazing pianist. The food was good and prices pretty average for these times. Hope the lovely couple enjoyed their wedding celebrations and have a long and happy life together.
Absolutely love it here, the recent changes have given it such a nice vibe! Food and cakes on the bar were delish, there's a new rhubarb cider on that's amazing and the atmosphere was really relaxed and friendly - will be in again :)
Clean plate club - savoury foods, nice outdoor seating and friendly staff. Excellent experience all around.
We went as a family of 3 for a school holiday lunch stop after a morning shopping in Leeds.
We ordered 2 kids meals and 1 adults meal
- kids beef burger, the quality was great if maybe a little too big (but he did demolish it!)
- my youngest is quite fussy and the kitchen went out their way to make him a cheese sandwich (even though it wasn’t on the menu)
- I had the adults burger which was served in a pretzel bun and was v tasty!
The environment was really welcoming for family’s with a small area to keep the littles ones entertained.
Staff were all friendly, welcoming and accommodating for us all and especially my little one.
We will 100% be back (hopefully when not raining) so we can enjoy the beer garden and wendy house next time!
