I needed a quick breakfast after an early morning flight and this was a solid choice.
The food is just okay, nothing special, but the service was quick. It was rather quiet around 9 on a Saturday but people started to come in for a later breakfast. I enjoyed the coffee refill option and the possibility to order via app.
A better experience than expected, overall.
With so many options for good beer nearby it’s easy to overlook this venue. Forgotten how good this Spoons actually is - fast efficient service and some great cask ales. The craft cans are excellent value as well.
Very comfortable seats with electric charging and wifi, fast delivery of standard food, excellent for lonely travellers before or after train journey, a perfect dinner before taking taxi to hotel.
Met up with my son for lunch. It was busy but not manic and tables were being cleared as soon as they were vacated. Ordered at the table and drinks arrived in minutes. Food arrived shortly after and was well presented, hot and tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was kept clean and tidy. Great job.👍😀
This was a lovely restaurant to go for a drink at, located conveniently in Leeds train station! The station harbors a fascinating rail theme that includes a train line on the windows as well as maps and locomotives on the walls, which I had proper views of from my comfortable seating. I had a refreshing pint of the new Mixed Fruits Tropical Cider, the bar is well-presented and cleanliness had been maintained!
Quintessential Wetherspoons. Right in the midst of the Leeds train station. First time to try the Burrito Bowl and the ice cream. Both are winners.
Called for breakfast during a short visit to Leeds.
As you would expect the place was extremely busy with travellers and locals alike which made for a good atmosphere.
There were no queues at the bar and service was quick and with a smile. Two full English breakfasts arrived freshly cooked and piping hot. No complaints.
Tables were cleared and cleaned quickly after customers had finished and toilets were immaculate.
Will definitely return on our next visit to Leeds.
Went for food on Friday evening, with my 83 year old Mom.
The food was served hot, the service was so OUTSTANDING, We were checked on for our food and if everything was ok, did we need anything else, 3 times.
I have worked in Hospitality for most of my life, from Kitchen/Cook waitress, and running of friends bars. ALL GUESTS EATING are VIPs, so no matter what age, and this how the staff made my Mom feel. So THANK YOU.
Room was clean, tidy, and reasonably priced. Staff were helpful and friendly. There was a little noise from the pub around last orders/closing but it didn't last long, it was a Wednesday and so could be worse on weekends i don't really know. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. It was close to a shopping centre so easy to get a few snacks and essentials. Also next to the bus station so easy to catch one if you need to. All in all, location was good for my needs, bed was comfy, and I got a good night's rest.
