Me and my son went to this place for lunch after reading many good reviews. We were not disappointed. We had hot starters for 2 and 1 main course. Food was absolutely delicious. Wish we live nearer to this restaurant. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommended!
Second time visiting The Olive Lounge, and the food was great, again. Service is nice and friendly. The restaurant is lovely inside and has a great atmosphere without being too noisy. We were treated to an exclusive Turkish breakfast and could have sat there all day enjoying it!!
Just had lunch here with my mum while we waited for my dad to have an outpatient appointment at the nearby St James Hospital.
We had the hot mixed meze platter for two with flatbreads.
The cheese rolls (filo patty filled with feta cheese and herbs) were sensational. The beef sausage, falafel, calamari and cheese filled jalapeño pepper were also excellent. There was easily enough for two with the flatbread, hummus and salad.
Service was extremely warm, friendly and attentive but it wasn’t very busy.
I don’t think it’s licensed and am not sure what it’s byob policy is.
I highly recommend this restaurant, particularly if you have a few hours to waste whilst visiting St James as it’s less than 10 minutes walk!
We visited the Olive Lounge in August 2021 for my partner's birthday meal, and we were not disappointed.
The food was delicious, and I can't thank the staff, including the owner, Ziynep, enough for their awesome hospitality.
My partner was glowing by the time we left.
We will definitely return.
Booked table for 10 people. Order Tawa and food was spot on. Lamb Chops and ribs on tawa were so soft and juice. Delicious meal and good portion to serve 4 people. Going back again soon
The food was good...the service was good and the food came out extremely fast. Really happy with it. I will come again hopefully.
Been here a few times, the food is delicious, the staff are so friendly and courteous, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys authentic Turkish food.
