The food was the BEST we've tasted. In our opinion it was by far the BEST Sunday roast in LS17

The Landlord and the landlady have worked really hard at being able to accommodate a great atmosphere, nothing was too much for them both to deal with. They have built up a lovely atmosphere. Just simply EXCELLENT
First time I've been to The New Inn, but it won't be the last. Had fish and chips and the fish eS large and came with plenty of really nice chips. (Fries if you are reading this over the pond!)
Also, dog friendly, which is always what we look for.
Visited here as part of Emmerdale Village Tour however, we did enjoy baked potatoes and a drink. Thoroughly enjoyable. This is a good place to stop off if you are passing.

What a Super place to stop, we booked Emmerdale tour for a Bank Holiday Monday, went Sunday & the staff were great, Sunday lunch was superb & ready for us after a long journey. Went back in the evening & locals were friendly too...Dog friendly, & our dog enjoyed his free treats..We stayed for 2 nights free & quiet..plenty of room for 8mtr MH & tow car..would highly recommend for a stress free stay, they even have portable loos 👍
We called in here for a quick drink before we went on the Emmerdale Village Tour. We were a bit apprehensive as we’d seen all the negative reviews about the inn but we needn’t have worried. The lady who served us was very welcoming and friendly and recommended a drink to me which I hadn’t tried before (which was delicious btw). There were lots of people coming in for food, all of whom were greeted very pleasantly. The pub is really busy on a weekend because of the tours but the car parking is organised very well by Contiuum Ltd. I don’t understand the negative reviews as I didn’t witness any problems on the day we visited.
Only had a pint but the views outside and the tradition interior made it a good pint
A hidden gem we started our emmerdale village tour from here and the pub is fantastic the staff are super friendly and helpful the pub was very busy so make sure to book in advance but even though how busy it was the staff presented very professional and helpful will be returning just for the pub

Last minute booking for Sunday lunch after Emmerdale Tour. We both had a small portion at £9 which was plenty for us as we are light eaters. The meal was fab.
Great free stay over in car park, had a nice meal and drinks. Staff were great, very helpful, 4 x toilets on car park nice beer garden with chickens 🤣 Thanku Sam & Jean+++Motorhome x
