The Place

I can only agree with Thomas Moss review, we arrived and ordered food at 12:10, the place was pretty dead with the two other groups ahead of us having already been served. The food took around 45 minutes to come and we were late back to work as a result. The food was pretty average considering the price all felt reheated, worst burger had grated cheese that had not even melted plus no coleslaw which they asked if we 'wanted a refund on that' and salsa as a replacement. Staff seemed too busy helping with outside deliveries to assist. Usually wouldn't write a review but after seeing Tom being questioned I felt obliged to back his review up, pretty poor response from the manager basically suggesting he was lying or not aware of where he was, would not go back which is a shame.

Ordered at around 12:10, burger didn't arrive until 13:00 (the place was dead). The beef was horrible, kept under a heat lamp or had been reheated. It looked yellow/grey inside, not very advertising at all. Also the the grated cheese wasn't melted, didn't melt throughout the meal so goes to show how 'hot' the burger was. Finally the wedgie style chips were pretty much cold. I'd recommend avoiding this place if you're wanting food. ----------------- As I cannot respond to your comment I'll place it here. It did happen at your establishment as it's down the road from my work, I didn't state I waited an hour, it was more 50 minutes. Happily check your cctv, we were sat opposite the bar (group of three lads). You'll be able to match my transaction with the cctv footage showing it was a 50 minute wait. I ordered coleslaw as a side, 30 minutes in I was told there wasn't any and got a refund. The people I were with also said the chips were warm, one got a chicken burger and the other fish and chips. I wouldn't know what the kitchen looks like as it's behind closed doors.

Really disappointed with the food. Ordered the periperi chicken and rice. The chicken was over cooked and dry and lack any real flavour and the rice was nothing more than a luke warm bowl of rice. Given the standard of the places nearby this leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe we should have realised this when we walked in and were the only people there.
