Great local pub, nice atmosphere and friendly staff

Over the years i have visited on many occasions as it’s fairly local to me, although have not participated in the food offering for quite some time as from memory wasn’t impressed but how things have changed. We tried it for Sunday lunch today, the food was fresh, well presented and very tasty. Very impressed and will definitely visit again.

A bit dark and dinghy inside, but outside would be nice when the weathers nice. TV screen with sport on so wont miss any major sporting events.

Booked part of the pub for my sons private surprise birthday. I can’t thank the staff enough, specially for keeping it a secret as he’s in there most days!! Staff are friendly, helpful and nothing is too much. Specially Callie Freeman who helped with the decorations and kept asking if everything was ok and if we needed anything. Food from the buffet was amazing and the remains was all boxed up for us to take away.

I visited this pub on Monday 8th May 2023 with my partner for a quick drink and a bite to eat. The food was lovely and the blonde girl behind the bar was very friendly and helpful. Even though she didn't look well, she still managed to provide a brilliant service. She definitely has a good sense of humour as well :) credit to the team!
