Great place, me and my disabled boyfriend rushed in to ask about their disabled toilets access and were met with apologies for their toilet being upstairs, but also directions to a nearby place with toilets without stairs. We came back for a few drinks out of gratitude and found a super cool laid back place with great music. Would recommend heartily.
I must disclose an interest but I did play there last night however I would strongly recommend this bar to anyone who enjoys good music and good beer and relaxed atmosphere. My only suggestion for improvement? How about a roof over the beer garden. This is Yorkshire after all!
Although it has been there for an age, this place is still considered a 'hidden gem' in the heart of Leeds. The original guitar shop is now upstairs whilst the ground floor hosts a cozy American dive bar/cafe vibe with regular live music. A great spot for anyone into Rock n Roll or the odd bit of metal. Lovely bar staff and always a great mix of clientele. No yobbos in here, a refreshing alternative to the rest of call lane. What the guitar shop lacks in size, it makes up for in substance. Rock on
I went to see the Water Tower Band play on Wednesday 16th of August, the staff were very polite, prices reasonable, facility very clean and atmosphere was rocking 👌 11 out if 10
Little gem of a bar. Bar downstairs, where they have live music, guitar shop upstairs!! Can also sit outside. Great atmosphere with good rock music to listen to.
Nice place to stop for coffee/beer and be surrounded by all things guitar/music.
You can also get honest burger delivered to your table!
Friendly staff and good quality drinks.
Great atmosphere on a Tuesday night, it's an open mic night so great for afew mates and beers, starts around 7.30ish
Was there last night and the music and the guy who was serving top class!! Definitely recommend
Me and my friend went to this bar Saturday night, and was pleasantly surprised when a great band started playing, the bouncer was lovely and friendly, very warm welcome into the bar. Atmosphere was great, I'll definitely be coming again!
No frills. Good beer. Didn't buy a guitar but it looks like they have quite a shop upstairs. Will be back.
Great venue, good beer and nice staff. Top quality music from ' Jenny Wren and her Borrowed Wings'. Shame heating wasn't on as would have stayed longer on a cold Nov night. Will be back when warmer.

Great little music venue. Have played there on a few occasions and got a great experience both playing and as a punter.
Granted. the drinks are a bit dear, but i have never seen them charge for a gig, so if that's the price to pay for free access to quality live music then i'm happy with that.
A very relaxed and cosy atmosphere. Hard to believe that it's actually on Call Lane! that street turns into a Blackpool stag-do meeting wartime Beirut every weekend, but in the middle of it sits this oasis of peace and quality tunes, so all is not lost.
