My daughter and I went out on a girls day to the White Rose shopping centre today to do some last minute holiday shopping. Eliza was excited for our day and had taken a considerable amount of time getting ready so that she looked perfect for the occasion. We nipped to costa on our way out of the centre and it was peak time so it was very busy. There were two ladies serving this afternoon, Caitlin and Kirsty. They both noticed Eliza straight away and took the time to make a fuss of her and compliment her outfit and her nails and her hair. She was absolutely chuffed and it absolutely made her day that her effort had been noticed. The ladies had such a long a queue and were clearly under pressure, yet still made a point of interacting with my daughter in between making our order. So, if you happened to see a very happy 7 year old strutting out of white rose today, that sass and self confidence was thanks to the lovely ladies at Costa! 3 Costa coffee shops in here, one in next, one adjacent M&S ground floor and one on the first floor within the food hall. This review is related to the one in the food hall. Nice friendly staff, a great cortado coffee ☕ and a muffin 🧁
Dining area was clean and tidy.
Public toilets 🚻 nearby - free to enter and very clean.

Unfortunately there was very dirty tables (we have to clean it by ourselfs). Also we can't order coffee in a cup (dishwasher was out of use), only "take away".

Costa within the NEXT at White Rose Centre. Friendly staff, good coffee and cakes. Can get busy on the weekend, but a much nicer location than the other two Costas in the centre.

The staff are friendly even when, like today, the coffee is really busy.
Costa have just done a refurbish of all the seating with more comfy chairs and couches.
The coffee is always great and they have just brought my fave Brie and bacon panini back so I’m a happy man.
