2nd time I've visited with the kids to calm my nerves and I have to say what a lovely welcoming safe atmosphere. Cracking pint of guiness and the sparkly j20 was well received haha. A literal lifeline - I get stir crazy!

A great pub with a great landlord, Mark is a very honest man and when I lost almost £200 in cash at the pub, he found it and put it in an envelope which was waiting for me on my return. It’s rare to find such integrity, and this a great place to relax, knowing this! Thank you!
Clean, good service, large indoor seating area, outside front seating area a bit noisy due to main road.
Good selection of beers and lagers.

Since opening the rear car park and turning it into a seating area, the Jug & Barrell is the perfect pub to go to for a pint in the sun. They have plenty of beers on tap at a reasonable price and the staff are really friendly and polite. You don't have to go inside, just sit yourself down and they will come to you and take your order. Great pub, never overly crowded.
Amazing day... Went to see Stickleback, my first live band in over a year... The staff were great & worked really hard to keep everyone's orders flowing... The back beer garden was just what was needed on a beautiful sunny day... Thanks to everyone for making the day special... Highly recommended 👌
Nice place, good staff and great atmosphere. Would have been a 5* but they happen to run out of some premium spirits which forced me to try some different offerings from my usual.
