Fabulous facilities, last visit in the late 70s for a Boomtown Rats concert... Very much focused on the students and staff.....

Came in here with the family as there was a sign saying "fruity" outside and I assumed it would be a fruit market. Honestly shocked, was not the type of fruit market I was expecting, kids are hungover now

A very large student centre with a huge dining hall. The union offers a better selection of foods than most public UK universities, but it's also expensive (for what is otherwise a usually affordable city). There's plenty of space, but I'm not sure it's made full use of enough. It's not a beautiful or notable building. Still, there's no doubt it does the job. As for the actual governmental students' union, I couldn't comment

Again, I'm not a student and am not the demographic the union is expected to cater for. However, having been on many open days over the years, this is my favourite students union. Lots of choice, both in bars and coffee shops.and places to eat, as well as location, as its slap-bank in the middle of campus. The students I've known and spoken to who went here all agree too.

We came for a concert in Stylus but had a stroll around looking for a loo and it seems to be such a lovely place! I can imagine in the day when all is open(shops) it would be an ideal place!

I was visiting the University for a meeting.
Pros: Had lunch from Humpit (good food, nice staff) and coffee and ice-cream from Scream (very good). Seems a lively, popular place.
Only downside: maybe because I was a visitor and not from U. Leeds, I found it v hard to get WiFi in this building, and it was also almost impossible to get a good phone signal (which must be a general problem).

Decent student union building. Usually go to Stylus, which is one of my favourite gig venues, although the bars and shops in the union are good also.

Amazing space that has multipurpose rooms, restaurants, study centers and support staff. I'm sure I didn't even explore all it has to offer and I was impressed. 🤤
