We've been to Souvlaki several times now. I love Greek food and it's hard to find many Greek places. It's a pretty, traditional looking Greek restaurant, with twinkly fairy lights.
The menu has a great range of meat, fish and vegetarian options. There are a couple of vegan options, and it says on the menu & on a chalkboard in the restaurant that any dietary requirements can be accommodated if you ask them!
As a vegetarian, I'm spoilt for choice. I've had the cheese platter, the fasoulada and the halloumi Souvlaki before, all of which were yummy and very generous portions! My husband enjoyed the fish/seafood stew, meatballs and the mixed meat Souvlaki previously. The malbec wine is good too! Must try the Fasolada - vegetarian (prob vegan too) and just delicious! I need the recipe.
Quick and friendly service, without being rushed.
This was a surprise treat for my wife's birthday. As you enter the restaurant, you feel transported to the Greece we know and love. It was a very welcoming place, and we enjoyed some delicious food, music and wine. The waitress even surprised my wife with a lovely birthday dessert. Thank you for making us feel so welcome, and I have booked a table for Valentine's day in February
Amazing traditional Greek food cooked better than in Greece! Lamb chops cooked perfectly and the seasoning on all food was unique .Definitely the best Greek food we've tasted.
Food was basic but authentic, cooked well, place was small with very limited seating.
Friendly staff. Lovely food. Good value. Excellent service. Nice atmosphere with Greek music playing. Very handy for O2 Academy. Will definitely be back.
Absoultely lovely and I felt alot better in my mind aswell when I left.
17 of us for my wife's birthday. Fantastic food great service and so authentic. 28 degrees we could have been in Greece. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone commented about their individual dishes - highly recommended.
Gorgeous little restaurant we didn't know existed, stumbled upon it yesterday looking for some lunch. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Our food was delicious, and while eating we got major food envy for every other dish as it arrived at the tables, will definitely go again
Food was amazing, staff lovely and environment very nice.
Would have been 5 star had it not been for automatically adding sevice charge to the bill (only 2 of us ate) i would have tipped anyway but i hate it when establishments put on a charge regardless.
Really wonderful, high quality food. Had the lamb shank with roast potatoes as a side, which were excellent, and tried the braised beef (can't remember the exact name) which was equally good. Really worth the money.
Fantastic food - I tried some starters - al of them were great. Also main meal was fantastic. Wine - also OK. Only potential "problem" could be if you would like to have (decent) beer to your meal - what they have is... so-so :-) But still place worth to go.
We went to try out the bottomless brunch menu and it was fantastic.
The food tasted fantastic and the portion sizes were enough to fill you up without making you feel bloated.
There was a good cocktail menu with some unique drinks and some classic drinks with a Greek twist. As for the other drink options: the prosecco was nice and not too dry and the spirits used in the long drinks were good high quality spirits.
The restaurant isn't massive but that helps to contribute to the great atmosphere.
The staff are friendly and attentive.
The one downside to the place is that it has only one toilet and it isn't wheelchair accessible, however the restaurant is not far from the millennium square public toilets.
