Such lovely food and the waiting staff are always great. We had beef penang short rib and tampura tamarind sea bass that were both lovely and flavoursome

A great range of options. Good quality food and it arrived hot! Lovely atmosphere and impressive fittings inside. Very handy for parking at the Q Park across the road. Starters averaged £8-10 with mains at £15+. Attentive helpful staff. Sensible to book in advance and payment is by digital means only (phone, card). Well worth a visit.

Frequented this little gaff at the weekend with friends, food was excellent, really tasty, service was superb. Only thing i will say is the portions were a little small and pretty much everyone in the group was still hungry even after a starter and main each. Prices were reasonable for such tasty food but expect to hit up Mc D's on the way home.

Excellent food and interior design, however, bad table setting (same size of forks, no spoon and unorganised napkin).

Our most recent visit was New Year's Day for my partner's birthday, we arrived early and were greeted by a friendly young man, who seated us straight away. Our table had a card with a "Happy Birthday" message for my partner which I thought was a lovely touch. We were asked if we would like Prawn Crackers which arrived promptly and were given a few minutes to look over the menus. An additional mocktails menu has been added which is perfect for anyone doing "Dry January", the mocktails we tried were delicious. We opted for the Chaophraya Sharing Platter to start - a good selection of starters, nicely presented, packed with flavour and each cooked to perfection. For mains we opted for Chicken Thai Green Curry - which had a nice level of heat, full of flavour and the chicken cooked perfectly. Beef in Black Pepper Sauce - which wasn't to my personal liking but my partner enjoyed it, and said the beef was cooked perfectly. We also opted for sides of Egg Fried Rice & Five Spiced Chips. The chips were a slightly small portion for the cost but non the less enjoyable - crispy and full of flavour. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and as always the staff friendly, informative and attentive. Lovely decor and very clean. After our main courses a dessert was brought out for my partner with a candle which was such a lovely gesture and appreciated. Throughout January there is a 30% discount on a la Carte menu which is an added bonus. We look forward to visiting again end of the month.

Beautiful exterior, lovely welcome but beware the offer of prawn crackers while you decide isn’t on the house. Outdoor marketing quoted lunch til 5pm but our 4.20pm arrival didn’t warrant that menu. We didn’t ask for it and decided to crack on with the A La Carte. Red house wine was excellent. Chilean Merlot. A lovely surprise. The service on the whole was good. Host was sweet and professional. Only point of contention was that she was the first of 4 servers. (She took the drinks order) Not a complaint by any means apart from one who was a little “jumpy” and the last provided a card with her name asking for feedback once we were paying up - we hadn’t met her til the very end - hence the feedback! Food - two points. They take your order and then immediately ask which side you would like as if they’re included. They ain’t. Tiny portions of side rice, very average “salt and pepper fries” and side veg that included veg already accompanying my main. We knew the deal but wanted so see how the server presented our options. Maybe explain that they’re extra and suggest two out of three to share for example. Alas, it was old school car salesman teckers from jumpy. Secondly, guys easy on the sauce, i got a lovely sea bass that was sat on a pool of sauce, as was the duck dish, as was the short rib starter, Tone it down, it’s flooding the plate, you must surely see the waste? The green curry was great. The standout. I hate giving less than 5* but I think 4* is generous here. The better staff pulled it back and I hope you guys figure it out in time. Will come back to see if it reaches its potential. Good luck!

Visited for a late, long, lunch with a good friend. A very relaxed, pleasant atmosphere, quiet and comfortable. Shown to table & asked if we’d like water; still or sparkling, I’m pleased my friend thought to ask for tap water or we might have ended up with bottled, but I could be wrong. Very varied menu but I asked if there was a lunch menu which was then brought - very good value for 2 or 3 courses. I chose vegetarian spring rolls & my friend fish cakes and we ordered a beer and a wine, both good value. I also asked for a clean starter’s knife as mine was quite dirty; it was removed. The perfectly acceptable starters arrived but I had to ask for a knife as it had not been replaced. I don’t know why the fish cakes were ‘dressed with’ chopped raw red onion, is that Thai? Does anyone eat raw onion? For mains I had a dish with pineapple and tofu instead of chicken, my friend had a chicken dish with cashews. Good sized portions, my friend said hers was delicious whereas I’d say my crispy tofu dish was ok (tofu was quite dry). I didn’t understand why there were a couple of whole little tomatoes there; are they a Thai ‘vegetable’? How was I to cut into them without them shooting across the restaurant or covering me with seeds? I had to leave them, surely other vegetables could be added to the onions and peppers? We each had a tea; a normal tea and a jasmine tea. Satisfactory, long, relaxing lunch for £26 each. We’d definitely return if we were to meet in Leeds again (very handy for train station)
