The Halfway House - Leeds - Photo album

I've always been fairly local to this pub but for some reason never actually been in. Well I went in today and was very impressed. Friendly staff and locals, well priced beer and the food was really good for the price too.
Nice olde worldly pub catering for fresh homemade food. Lovely staff.
New chef in the kitchen, outstanding homecooked food..... Home made chunky chips ❤️❤️ you won't go far wrong for food here and kids eat for £1 during the holidays
Lovely pint in a quality little boozer. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere
Under new ownership, we really enjoyed our visit yesterday. There is still some effort to go, and we would go weekly if they started doing food again which we were told is in the new year, but just the decor being spruced up, cleaner tables and layout more friendly, it was already so much more welco
Visiting from London, best pub food I've ever had, amazing staff, can't wait to return.
Just had a lovely sunday lunch. Clearly the pub is under a recent change of management. Good size portions, fresh seasonal veg. Very reasonable prices. Have not tried the deserts as no room after a starter and main but will try it next time. Service good helpful and friendly staff
Lovely friendly pub, excellent pint of real ale! food is great too ! All at a more than reasonable price; this pub is well worth a visit!!
Had a cracking pint of John Smith's at the super price of just £2.30 😊 It was a Thursday and Karaoke night. The sound was great and the singers all were, too. Heartily recommended 👍
Bit of a regulars pub but staff friendly plenty of room not sure if they serve food Sam smiths pub I think?
What a lovely meal, 1st time we had been but will not be the last, the food was excellent and the barmaid was very friendly and checked we were enjoying our meals, thank you
Great stop off on my walk home. Only 2 real ales, but the blonde I was drinking was great.
Staff brilliant shame thay dont serve food
Excellent service. Did a charity ride out nice beer..
New landlady and staff trying to bring this great pub back to where it belongs and they are doing a fine job so far.
A bit of a hidden gem. I've walked past this pub countless times not realising it's a really friendly place, reasonably priced and nicely done out inside.
