I popped in today for a quick bite to eat on my way home.
It was quite busy but the service was very acceptable.
The staff were friendly and where I day was very clean.
The fish and chips were lovely and filling.
Will definitely pop in again.

I wouldn't usually write a review for my lunch at work but just stopped off at montys and had a small fish and chips with curry sauce. It was literally the best fish and chips I've ever had, good portion and so fresh. May have been lucky with timing but it was perfect, could not fault one thing and I've had many fish and chips over the last 34 years. Would definitely visit again if I'm up in the area.

This great eat in, take away Fish and Chip shop is without doubt one of the very best. The staff are all lovely and go the extra yard to make you welcome. It’s totally dog 🐕 friendly and they get to eat free, just amazing. Thank you to all at Montys you should be proud of yourselves. 😊👍💖

Great food and friendly service! My daughter had to take an urgent call, so had to step out just before the food was delivered, they kept her food warm and even prepared fresh chips for her when she returned. You couldn't ask for better service! Thank you :)
