Had been before and really enjoyed the food so decided to book a table as a post-valentines treat however, sadly left disappointed. The veggie beanie burger has been dropped and you now have a choice of 2 mushrooms in a bun (not a burger!) or an onion bhaji which seems a bit sad compared to the extensive meaty offerings. I went for the smoked mushroom which wasnt bad, just lacked a bit of substance compared to the multitude of protein-based options that there are on the market now. The chips however were awful! I ate about 5 of them but couldn't stomach the rest, they were all tiny pieces of oil-saturated crispy bits with virtually no potato. Ended up leaving pretty much all of them which made my mushroom-in-a-bun meal at £12 seem extremely expensive. Sorry Crafty but you missed the mark for me this time!
Excellent night, I’m vegan and my daughter is a meat eater, we found Crafty by accident and loved it, best vegan burger I’ve ever had. Definitely planning another visit.
Really like crafty burger because of the burgers! Good choice and very tasty! I’ve been twice in a month - purely for the burgers.
My only issue with the food is the chips - they are so disappointing. They are so over-cooked. Really let’s the burger down, luckily the burgers are so big you don’t go hungry.
Also please please please can someone at Crafty Burger / St Martin’s Coffee House clean the toilets properly - they are what I can only describe as vile (both times I went so it wasn’t a one off). Puts you off your food!
Visited with my husband for a quick meal before going out. Chilled vibe despite it always being full! Burger was amazing as ever. Chips were really overcooked but the topping was perfect.
Great burger, fast service and good atmosphere. Burger choice is great....the stacked fries are mega....lager and beer choice limited. Quirky plates sat at school desks. Service was prompt and friendly. Would recommend.
We visit Leicester termly and have tried a couple of times to get a table at Crafty Burger. This weekend we were successful and it didn't disappoint.
Service was very friendly. Tables clean, comfy and well spaced.
The menu is concise but what a choice. Between us we tried Beef (Poet Burger), Chicken & the Veggie Mushroom. The Mac N Cheese and the Char Sui bites took the edge off our hunger & were delicious.
The burgers arrived looking amazing and the taste was the same.
The Craft Cider was also welcome - nice to try something different and the pink version was perfect.
All in all a great place for a great family treat meal. The place was busy giving it a very nice vibe and the staff were smiley & helpful.
Hope to grab a table another time!
Second time I have been and the food is just immense! Beer is good and team all really nice. Select opening times which is great I’m just normally working when they are openn
Great service! Told them we were short on time and they took our orders immediately. Burgers were delectable and great veggie burger too. Would definitely recommend.
We went here for my partners birthday. Was busy but the staff were great and the food was incredible! Was great my partner swapped his burger for chicken instead of beef, it was no fuss for them, and i had a gluten free bun. The staff member even advised which fries had gluten in. They even unexpected put a sparkler candle in his burger to wish him happy birthday. He has the El Rojo burger with Wurst Fries and i had the farmyard Jam burger with spanish fries. It was absolutely the best burger I've had in years. Will be returning!! The normal size is extremely filling and you will have a food coma!
Went here last night and was not disapointed, we shared a starter platter and was very tasty , i especially liked the pork, onto mains and i had this months special, the rojo burger , doubled up on the beef aswell , real quality beef in this and all other burgers at this place . I had the fries which accompany all the burgers , didnt bother to upgrade them as im not a fan of all the extras you can add to the chips . The staff were also very friendly and informative
I had the one their Specials of the month , it was the tastiest Chicken burger I've ever had. It well seasoned with spices gave it a nice kick but not too hot and allowed you to enjoy it. It was
fried in buttermilk giving it a succulent but crispy texture.🤤
I also had their Spanish fries which was nice but with a large burger it was difficult to finish also maybe too much nacho cheese on the fries. It was a Friday evening , that mean't it was noisy but customer service was lovely. All in all it was a good experience
My raiting 8/10.
Believe or not but I'd never been to Crafty and I had no idea what they did! After seeing my food I was amazed! Since my first visit Iv been several times because Crafty is amazing! There's plenty of variety on their menu, they have generous portions & overall their food is delicious!!! Definitely recommend to go if you've not been!
Always look forward to a visit a Crafty’s .The best burgers in town great friendly service reasonable prices.
Had a rare date night with my husband and we decided to check out Crafty Burger. My husband loves his burgers and he wasn't disappointed. The food and service was excellent, staff very friendly. Bugers and fries were so tasty. We also thought it was great value for money, would definitely go back.
Visited crafty burger tonight for the first time was very busy can see why!
Food was fantastic extremely flavoursome tried the sharing starter - pork bites were amazing and the mac cheese bites and wings were also to die for, and the guacamole and nachos was spot on. Burgers were amazing, great value for money great service one the best burgers I’ve ever eaten without a doubt will definitely return. A really good place to visit for food without a doubt!
let us take a menu, no warning oh x isn't available...
sat down decided went to order.. can we have x and y burgers please...
"we aren't doing Burgers today" now why or sorry just that.
We’ve been coming here since day 1 (we were cool before we had kids...) but it hasn’t changed or dipped in quality. I liken it to our holidays to Greece. We occasionally go somewhere else but we always compare and end up saying “it’s good but it’s just not Greece...’. I now can’t order a burger anywhere else because it’s just not Crafty.
We came here for our anniversary and it was fab...we were recommended by a friend who visits often and I can see why... the atmosphere is good ..staff are friendly and welcoming...and the food is spot on..theres a kids choice also if you want a smaller burger...the burgers are cooked "pink" but can be cooked to preference they come with chips which are very tasty theres a good choice of burgers a great place to visit....cant wait to go back.
Nice place in St. Martains square with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Booked a 7.30pm table but arrived early around 6.50pm and were seated right away with no problem which was appreciated.
The burgers here are insane!! It really was such a hard choice making my order as I wanted so many of the burgers. I went for the Crafty Poet (XL naturally) in the end and was not dissapointed. It was a BIG BURGER but I'm very greedy so I was delighted. The cheese, onions all added to the very flavoursome patty of perfectly cooked meat. Really can not fault the burger at all. I also pimped my fries with the Spanish topping. The sausage meat was so tender, they werent stingy with the cheese and sauce either.
I will 100% be returning to crafty burger to try the other burgers I missed. This place really hit the spot.
I’m from London and this place beats most of the burger restaurants I have been to. Burgers are cooked ‘pink’ if u choose. Chips are brilliant and come with a great variety of toppings. They even do fried chicken! Craft Beer selection is great. It’s a great combination.
