Have been a couple of times and the menu is good. Portions are a good size and food is fresh. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating and a kids play area. They have always accommodated despite last minute booking and being busy. Would recommend and will be back again.

An overall nice mid-range place to eat. I like the atmosphere here more than in some other examples from this chain, and the food was cooked very well. I'd say the menu is a little overpriced for what you get, but it's still rather nice grub and menus are available for both vegan and gluten free.
Gluten free menu absolutely to die for!! I had the Tuxford chicken, I don’t like peppercorn sauce and swapped for the blue cheese - stunning! Great pub and restaurant. Somethings didn't go as planned, missed desert, or forgot drinks, but the staff where quick to respond and made sure we had what we wanted. On one occasion I ordered the wrong desert and they swapped it no questions.

Very impressed. It was busy on the Friday night we came but the service was excellent and the food was fantastic. We did not wait long for the food. Staff were very friendly and will definitely come back. Food was delicious
My first visit to the Lime Tree. Five of us went for Sunday Lunch and had the Carvery. Three choices of meat, potatoes and veg galore and decent sized yorkie puds. Very tasty.
