Have been a couple of times and the menu is good. Portions are a good size and food is fresh. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating and a kids play area. They have always accommodated despite last minute booking and being busy. Would recommend and will be back again.
Ate in the restaurant here on Saturday night and it was so lovely. V friendly waitress (ginger girl). Had the steak and ale pie (LOADS of onions, not much steak and a lot of pastry so bear this in mind if you want a meat-heavy pie - but the few chunks that were in there were v tender). But the veg that came with the pie was delicious, not overdone like most pub meals! My friend had the pork belly bao burger. She said the meat was really nice, but the whole thing a bit too tangy? The fries were v good. We shared the kinder cookie dough dessert but it was a bit overdone, more of a cookie than cookie dough. Wish we got the Biscoff bread and butter pudding! But it’s a really nice pub, the Malbec was delicious and was bustling on a rainy sat night.
Met a friend at The Lime Tree tonight and decided to stay for food. We’re not often ones to leave reviews as we’re always too busy, but I have to say, we weren’t disappointed. The food was fantastic, we both decided to go for the Hunters chicken and it was cooked beautifully, the chips were nice and crispy on the outside and lovely and fluffy on the inside and tue chicken itself was spot on, we also had desserts, which again did not disappoint, I would definitely recommend coming here for food as well as the friendly atmosphere, the staff were lovely and friendly and always on hand without being intrusive. We’ll be going back again as soon as we both have matching days off.
Me and my partner decided to celebrate our anniversary at the lime tree saturday, when booking i wanted to surprise my partner with a dessert the lady on the phone was amazing and she UNDERSTOOD the assignment it was beautiful, every worker was lovely service was amazing, food came out quick and delicious it created the perfect atmosphere for our date, Thank you to the team ❤️
An overall nice mid-range place to eat. I like the atmosphere here more than in some other examples from this chain, and the food was cooked very well. I'd say the menu is a little overpriced for what you get, but it's still rather nice grub and menus are available for both vegan and gluten free.
Gluten free menu absolutely to die for!! I had the Tuxford chicken, I don’t like peppercorn sauce and swapped for the blue cheese - stunning! Chicken was moist, veg for not too soft, perfect crunch and the potatoes were beautiful. My grandma had the scampi and chips from the normal menu and the chips were so chunky but looked so tasty. Brilliant portions! It was busy but the way the restaurant is designed made it not too loud and the staff were super friendly. The service was fast, over all a 10/10 experience. We came on a Wednesday and booked, restaurant was full so recommend booking. I’m not one to leave reviews but I am so impressed, and the price was extremely reasonable.
Great pub and restaurant. Somethings didn't go as planned, missed desert, or forgot drinks, but the staff where quick to respond and made sure we had what we wanted. On one occasion I ordered the wrong desert and they swapped it no questions.
Very quick with the food, there was 10 of us, and it all came out together. Very impressed with service and quality of food.

Very impressed. It was busy on the Friday night we came but the service was excellent and the food was fantastic. We did not wait long for the food. Staff were very friendly and will definitely come back. Food was delicious
My first visit to the Lime Tree. Five of us went for Sunday Lunch and had the Carvery. Three choices of meat, potatoes and veg galore and decent sized yorkie puds. Very tasty.
Staff were helpful and pleasant. There’s a nice atmosphere in this place.
