Excellent service. Everyone we interacted with was very professional, friendly, and genuinely well trained in the field of good customer service.
Only went for dessert on this occasion. Found it really good. Lovely, proper Turkish tea, nice kunafa. Will be definitely coming back and looking forward to trying out the mains.
What let's it down is the fact place is very crammed. The table next to ours was not even arm length away. Also, as we were asked to move the table, it was very difficult for an expecting woman to navigate to the new table trying to squeeze in between other tables back to back. Being on London Road red route parking is an issue as well.
Food was really nice, chicken was super tender and full of flavour. They give a basket of bread with some sauces at the beginning and I swear I could have lived off that alone
Had to wait around 30 mins for a table as it was busy but there was an empty table at the back it may have been booked but I didn't ask. We ordered a variety of dishes, all of it was fresh and tasty. A bit on the pricey side for me and service could have been better. One time visit with family was good.
First time visiting here and won't be the last!!

Favourite restaurant in Leicester which made us fall in love with Turkish food so much that we ended up planning a trip to Turkey while sitting here, and all through Istanbul and Antalya kept missing Konak’s food because nothing would compare!
The meat is juicy, the portion sizes are huge, the service is amazing. You get complimentary bread and salad at the start of your meal and then complimentary Turkish tea at the end of it.
We order the combo shish every time and love it to the last bite. Already planning to visit again on our anniversary

We visited on 17/02/2023 reserving a table for 17:30. We were seated in a good spot by the window away from the door, noise and cooking area. We took our time to order and didn't feel like we were rushed. After ordering we were given the Meze and starters. As we ate we were given out drinks and shortly after, our mains arrived.

The shared platter was well cooked, tasty and flavourful. The chops were good and I particularly liked the lamb over the chicken. We also ordered the Turkish pizza which was delicious. The cheese had melted well and the crust wasn't too dry/crusty. The complimentary tea ended the evening well.
Areej and Zeynep were incredibly helpful and friendly. Served us well and had great customer service.
They kept me waiting although they have the table available. After 10 minutes of waiting I had to remind them for table again. Finally, they allocated the table for me. Internal decor was nice. Staffs were very polite, active and co-operative.
Food: Humus wasn't that appealing, rest everything were very good. Perfectly seasoned, nice smokey flavor, juicy, taste and presentation, all were perfect. Free tea at the end was adding more value. Keep it up.
Fabulous Staff, helped me access their restaurant this evening. There is a step to navigate to get in to the restaurant. As an ambulatory wheelchair user I was able to step in and the staff lifted me chair.
Surroundings modern, comfortable, plain, simple and clean. Light fittings traditional and elegant.
Service great. Food hot, tasty and delicious 😋. Turkish tea ☕️ tasty. Never been a fan of Turkish delights but th bit served on the side with my tea was truly delightful and yummy 😋
They looked after our table well. We were on a work night out.
They seated and catered quickly to the ever changing clientele. They didn’t turn away unblocked groups. They were very busy.
The kitchen can be view whilst waiting. They appeared to work fast and orderly. Everything looked clean and organised.

Great food, great location on London road just a stone's throw away from Victoria Park. One of the best Turkish places in Leicester, and in my personal top 2.
The service is always great and never had any complaints. The only negative is that being on a busy main road surrounded by many other food and drink establishments, it's difficult to find parking.
Service, food and local, everything excellent. I highly recommend it
