It was a really nice pub and friendly staff. We were in a hurry and wanted to grab lunch. Ordered 2 dishes that could be served quickly so we could be on our way.
Sausage and Mash and Chilli Fries. Food was nice no doubt. But we had to wait nearly half an hour to be served.
It seemed that the place was understaffed and the team was just about coping. So their friendly and welcoming attitude was greatly appreciated.
There is parking on site, the menu is varied with restaurant and bar snacks options.
Great place, just go with time on your hands so you can enjoy the experience, atmosphere and the vibe.
Came here on a Tuesday and wasn’t sure what to think. Until we ordered… the staff were lovely. The food was amazing.
The only issue was it was really busy but I think if we had been up for playing in the quiz or had come other than to get dinner it would have been great!
We live in Spain, so it's nice to have a nice restaurant to meet family in. The Cradock was suggested but we hadn't been there in around 20 years, so we agreed somewhat reluctantly. We needn't have worried, the food has moved up several notches, the staff were great and we had an amazing meal. Thanks to everyone at The Cradock.
First visit in over 40 years since I was a student in the halls of residence opposite. Lots of inside and outside seating. Very friendly staff and nice mix of clientele when we were there. Good atmosphere on a Saturday night. Only had drinks but food seemed popular.
Absolutely perfect in every way we booked this venue which we had never used before for our team day out lunch and what a great find. From the moment we arrived at the pub everything was first class.. There was 28 in our party and we didn’t have a great deal of time but this didn’t phase the team and our food was served promptly and absolutely delicious, the staff were helpful and extremely friendly and we couldn’t have asked for more

Wow first time at The Craddock Arms and it was brilliant went on a day with good weather so opted to sit outside the inside of the pub looked really nice and clean with really comfy seats. The outside was done up with bench and tables. Lots of choice of beer wine and alcohol as you'd expect. The food was brilliant one of the best Sunday lunches I have had amazing loads on your plate tasted amazing. Had a astarter as well and was different and taste fantastic. Highly recommended this pub for a Sunday lunch will come back
Everything you could want from a pub. Food is quality. Beer is fantastic with good choice. Excellent customer service as well. Highly recommend.
Fantastic food. Quality meat. Vegan dishes. Lovely staff. Even dog friendly I noticed although I wasn't with my pooch on this occasion
What an absolute gem of a place!
First time visiting on Sunday, we were part of a large party for a birthday celebration and from the moment we arrived were made to feel very welcome and attentively served throughout.
The chap who was in charge of our table checked back regularly and couldn’t do enough to make our experience better, always with a smile and some humour.
The pub itself is vast, very well furnished to a good standard, clean, modern and has a fabulous beer garden.
Anyone reading this who is considering a visit please do you won’t regret it, only wish we lived nearer to call it our local.
I visited this place with a group of colleagues on a Sunday. We sat outside, the atmosphere is lovely. There were also non-smoking areas outside. The food was fantastic, had the honey glazed ham and some others really enjoyed the beef. Perfect place for Sunday lunch!
