Would cheerfully eat here every night. Really very good food. The chicken and lamb shish kebab was excellent. My lamb chop didn't have much meat, but others' were great. The grilled onion which came with the kebab was sweet, crunchy and delicious. The wine was so-so and my mojito actually a bit weird. I was with a biggish group and the meze plates looked amazing. Houmous and Halloumi were generously portioned. The bread and dips led us off delightfully; super tasty foccacia-style bread and spicy and garlicky dips. Music was a cool jazz style that was perfect for me. Great company (but the restaurant doesn't necessarily always come with that!) Staff were friendly and patient. Service not the quickest, but just excellent hospitality; we never felt rushed or ignored or pressured to order or pay or anything. Restaurant was not busy, which is ridiculous, because it is great. Get there immediately.
Cosy, one main man doing all the work from taking order, cleaning tables, pot washing. One other one cooking. Went to get me chilli sauce because they were out. The food tastes the best I have tasted yet in that cuisine. Excellent prices with good deals and friendly service. Definitely going to return.

I count myself lucky to have a cafe like this on my doorstep. It's a friendly family restaurant and everything is home made and extremely tasty! If you're not familiar with the menu the staff are happy to explain the dishes to you, which are displayed in the counter units. Make sure you try the baklava and lokum too - all home made in store.
Had a fabulous experience at Yesim Grill and meze bar, I’ve been to many other Turkish restaurants on Narborough road and around Leicestershire and this place topped all experiences! Beautiful food, and great, attentive staff! Would highly recommended this place! Thank you for the lovely experience.
By far one of the best places I've been too and I've been to a few, such a chilled atmosphere and friendly sfaff you won't be disappointed food is banging honestly the best I've ever tasted. Delicious.
Good food, wide ranging and reasonably priced menu, and the owner seems nice and friendly. The only less enjoyable thing is that the cafe is dominated by groups of male customers in a way that's a little off-putting for women.
They serve the traditional turkish dishes and the food is delicious. The whole atmosphere of the place is calm, at ease and welcoming. Overall, this place deserves much more recognition, in my opinion.
