Impeccable customer service, chef was able to customise our dishes with no quibbles and everything arrived promptly. Flavour was lovely, would recommend. Decor could do with an update but the food more than makes up for it.
Fantastic food
Staff are very friendly
Strongly recommend this restaurant
1) big portions!!!!
2) lovely owners, they enjoy doing their work, they’re amazing.
3) they gave my sister chocolates and a sauce mix she got obsess with when we went there.
It feels quite lovely l! Should definitely try!
Awesome food here. There twist on Indian cuisine with East African home cooking fusion.
Their portions and taste of flavours are really good and reasonably priced. You won't be disappointed. If you fancy a change, then it's a good shout. It's a family business, but they believe in quality than quantity.
Visited this wonderful hidden gem situated near to the King Power Stadium with 2 friends and experienced from start to finish, service and food of the highest standard given that the restaurant is a family ran business and pretentiousness is certainly not on the menu.
With a laid back, homely atmosphere and feel about the place, the staff were superb in delivering their own style of Indian dining.
The food was of a very high standard and very reasonably priced as were the drinks menu.
A must visit if you are visiting the area.
Thank you to all the staff for a great evening.
Came on a recommendation. Friendly family vibe, the best pickle tray ever and my new favourite curry - Kuku Machoosi.
Gutted I live in Manchester.
What a great find.
This is a tiny venue, with an intimate atmosphere but without feeling cramped or rushed.
The food is highly flavoured and in an individual, not caricatured way.
Service is friendly, prompt, helpful, personable.
So happy to have eaten here
We went on Sunday evening and were made very welcome. The waiter was a family member who was friendly and very helpful. We had a mixed shared starter and 2 lamb African dishes. The food was fantastic. The level of spices just what we asked for and the lamb soft and tasty. The meals were huge. This restaurant is just a few minutes walk from the holiday inn express and the football stadium. We'll worth a visit if you are in Leicester.
undoubtedly the best Indian food in the UK, Thank you Monish and team ❤️
I looked for a restaurant close to the King Power stadium and found a good review of Teli’s, so chanced it.
It was one of the very best meals l have had in a long time. The curries were well spiced with tender meat and great naan breads.
The welcome and service were very friendly… you felt like one of their family. The interior furnishings are a little tired , but this positively added to the experience that you were in a true curry house with the locals and family.
A brilliant experience and l would recommend highly
Great service and nice food.
There is a sign at the entrance saying that an oil with genetically modified soya is being used. I really appreciate that this business is honest with letting the customer know of the ingredients used.
May I suggest to change the oil being used to one that isn’t genetically modified? Then you can take the sign down. There is something alarming about seeing a sign in big red letters when you walk in.
A couple of other observations:
1. As soon as you walk in there is a table right in front. This can be quite intimidating for those coming in (and those sitting).
2. The toilets could do with being renewed as the facilities are quite old.
Other than that amazing people, service, food and price! Keep up the good work ;)
Great Friday evening meal. Food was outstanding, service excellent and portions huge. Nice family run business - even gave us a free shot at the end. Will be back.
