Visited this wonderful hidden gem situated near to the King Power Stadium with 2 friends and experienced from start to finish, service and food of the highest standard given that the restaurant is a family ran business and pretentiousness is certainly not on the menu.

We went on Sunday evening and were made very welcome. The waiter was a family member who was friendly and very helpful. We had a mixed shared starter and 2 lamb African dishes. I looked for a restaurant close to the King Power stadium and found a good review of Teli’s, so chanced it.
It was one of the very best meals l have had in a long time. The curries were well spiced with tender meat and great naan breads.

This restaurant is grounded, and down to earth. Forget Michelin stars pompous facade. The food and service at Telis is without doubt up there
