After a bad experience at a nearby pizza express I needed more persuasion than usual to try this one. However I am happy to report that we had a great meal. The service in particular was excellent, maybe helped by the fact that it wasn't really busy, but good all the same.
Nice little branch of this popular pizza chain. It has a slightly dark ambience which makes it good for a romantic date.
It's worth Googling 'Pizza Express Offers' before you go to obtain a voucher for your food which can be displayed to a waiter before you get the bill.

I have been frequenting this particular Pizza Express for many, many years. It is consistently good. The staff are always friendly despite being busy. The location is nice, even more so now the surrounding area has been developed and pedestrianised.
Good food and attentive service here. Went with the family on a deal that gave us three courses for £13.95 each. Wine, however, is grossly marked up - £4.00 for a standard glass of their cheapest red.
As usual pizza express offers some of the best pizza available at a chain restaurant. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Quick service. Tasty well cooked food which is always served at appropriate temperature. Even when very busy, as they often are, you are never made to wait longer than you would wish.
Still good after lockdown. Fresh and tasty. What not to like. Will return!
Had Christmas meal here for a large group. They gave us the whole top floor with serving staff just for us. Amazing! Very quick service and great friendly staff. Very helpful when we wanted to pay separately
