After a bad experience at a nearby pizza express I needed more persuasion than usual to try this one. However I am happy to report that we had a great meal. The service in particular was excellent, maybe helped by the fact that it wasn't really busy, but good all the same.
Nice little branch of this popular pizza chain. It has a slightly dark ambience which makes it good for a romantic date. It's worth Googling 'Pizza Express Offers' before you go to obtain a voucher for your food which can be displayed to a waiter before you get the bill. Recommended.
I have been frequenting this particular Pizza Express for many, many years. It is consistently good. The staff are always friendly despite being busy. The location is nice, even more so now the surrounding area has been developed and pedestrianised.
