Absolutely the best place to eat in leicester... we live in Nottingham but when ever we come to Leicester we just go to more .food is amazing ... the staff are really helpful and good.And Mr moor and Mrs moor are brilliant absolutely amazing . Very clean place..

Really loved this restaurant. It was super clean. You can see inside the kitchen and it was spotless. That made me even more comfortable. The decor and lighting was great and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The food and presentation is A++
It was my first time visiting as part of my birthday treats from my hubby and I was not disappointed at all. The prices were reasonable (didn't spend more than £50). If you are not sure what to order the staff are delighted to help you.
The location was perfect, about a minute from the train station.
Our experience of Etci Baba was excellent.
The grilled food was tasty. Ambience of the restaurant was brilliant. Staff is super friendly and it was not expensive like other etcis.
Highly recommended if you are around Leicester.
Excellent meal! Had the platter for 4 for five of us and couldn’t manage it all. Delicious bread and dips. Friendly and quick service. Great value for money. Clean toilets. Lovely family atmosphere. Dry, so no silly drunk behaviour! Will come again for sure
The decor and the service was good. They forgot our starters but we're very apologetic and it came straight after. The food is delicious and has live cooking!

Hands down the best restaurant I've been to in the Midlands. Halal meals and friendly staff. Huge thank you to the staff for helping out with regard to the impromptu request I had with my date. The cheesecake is one to have everytime and the platter for two is ideal and filling for two. The strawberry mojito mocktail was excellent and the ambience was a calm one with no loud music. Excellent chef and overall an awesome experience. Also had complimentary Turkish tea and bread. Thank you to everyone again, I'll be back.
We went as a group of 25 and the service was simply impeccable. The staff worked diligently, catering to all our varying needs.

I had a fantastic time for a leaving do dinner in this buzzing restaurant near the University of Leicester. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty. Booking for large group was a nice experience too. They were very accommodating for the extra guests arriving for dinner. Family friendly and relaxing yet modern decor. Bathroom can be cleaned more regularly but everything else was just perfect! I would go there again!
We went here to celebrate a birthday and got a meat platter, which was divine.. tasted beautiful, was cooked to perfection and they even put on a show. Couldn't fault the experience. The wait time for the food was also short. The only reason I've rated it a lower score is that I felt it was slightly more expensive than I would've imagined for what we got
Located on a busy road of Leicester, where there arw alot of options for eating out.
Finally got round to trying etci baba; given the name, I was expecting it to be similar to Etci Mehmet however there are no similarities.
The food menu is your normal Turkish restaurant options; nothing unique or different here.
I went for a mix shish with chips which was quite nice. Had a pinacolada mocktail which was okay.
Parking can be a nightmare and time consuming to find.
Price wise it's alright, slightly on the higher end of turkish restaurants.
Overall, I expected it to be alot better than how it was. It turned out to be no different than any other Turkish restaurant.
