The food was quite good, tried the lamb biryani, chicken risala and the Dhaka deli special along with fish tikka and chicken garlic tikka as starters. The lamb biryani was ok, salan was nice. The Dhaka deli special was really nice. Must try. Limited selection of drinks. Atmosphere is quite nice, the place is clean and well kept. Prices are reasonable as well for the quantities given. The starters are small.

A 4.5* really! Have eaten here many times over the years and previously have only ever really enjoyed the lavish decor! All that has gone now, but the stark white interior does brighten the place and the removal of the TV from the lobby area is a blessing! The service was excellent - quietly understated, professional, but warm. Couldn't fault it. Food was first class - the flavours of each dish were pure and not generic. Beautifully spiced fish and chicken with light, fluffy breads & warm, crunchy poppadoms with a great pickle tray. Highly recommend the tandoori chicken! Moist, well marinated and full of flavour. Only tiny letdown was the soft drink I ordered, obviously out of a large bottle and sadly flat. The glasses were sparkling clean, as was the cutlery and linen. Coloured, fabric napkins added a welcome 'pop' to the table. All in all, an unexpectedly lovely dining experience. Maybe bring a couple of more authentic, but not too obtrusive Indian art pieces to the walls?

Had a meal at here last weekend and I must say it was great. I had the chicken tikka masala and my partner had a vegetarian option, we both loved it. The food tasted lovely and is very reasonably priced, the staff were very friendly and attentive, the restaurant is clean and well presented. We will definitely be back & would highly recommend Dhaka Deli.
