Great service and nice little cafe. Definitely going back as the amount of food for the price was great and the melt I had was amazing. Highly recommended if you are in the area and after some lunch.
A very nice cafe for lunch - I think they also have a more substantial menu for hungry bods. Didn't give five stars as we were informed we have to book afternoon tea and it wasn't really obvious before we sat down. However we made a good alternative choice which was really enjoyable and the portions are quite generous, nicely presented and tasty . Lovely quiet environment but don't rely on parking in the immediate vicinity tho plenty of available space if you walk a couple of streets away. Nice independent local shops if you fancy a browse. Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon out.
The chicken and lamb is halal. The service was great. You get way more better portion size than Cue and the food comes out hot and it is tasty! I was stuffed! I had a tuna and cheese panini and it comes with chips, salad and coleslaw. I think it was around £6.50. My other half had 3 omelette with chicken and salad and chips and our guest had eggs florentine and we got a tea pot for two . It came to £27. Cheaper than Cue and nearby cafes. The customer service was brilliant and I will be going back again with friends and family! Thank you browns for giving me another place to visit in Leicester for breakfast and lunch!
We enjoyed a pleasant breakfast here on a rainy Tuesday morning. The hot choc with cream + flake was delicious, without cream would just taste ordinary. The eggs florentine was of a good standard, the spinach was fresh and the hollandaise sauce was yummy! The vegetarian breakfast was good too, would prefer there to be two hash browns instead of one, and the chopped tomato sauce could do with more flavour. Overall, a very good experience, the food came fresh and hot and customer service was great!

One of the best full English breakfasts I’ve had. Everything cooked perfect. The one thing it’s missing is HP brown sauce. Other than that, perfect. Even the tea, loose tea. Will 100% return and recommend. Ps. Parking can be a nightmare
Just wanted to say my friend and I had a wonderful lunch on Monday with you , a rare find of a lovely place eat , we had the quiche of the day with salad and chips , with a drink in the garden in the sunshine it was scrumptious, thanks guys great job well done ! Can’t wait to return , I could have ate the whole menu x

Speaking of coffee, I must say that the coffee at Brown's Cafe was the best I have ever had. The baristas clearly took pride in their craft, as each cup was expertly prepared and served with care. The rich aroma and the perfectly balanced flavors made it a delightful indulgence. Lastly, the afternoon tea experience at Brown's Cafe was a true delight. Even my 8-year-old son, who fancies himself a budding food critic, enjoyed the experience immensely. He compared every restaurant we visited after that and declared Brown's Cafe to be his favorite. Have been to Brown's cafe a few times now. Always friendly staff, clean, great service and the cakes are delicious! Would highly recommend for a lovely relaxed gingerbread latte and slice of lemon drizzle 😊🍋❤️🎂
