This place is amazing. I’ve been here a couple of times and not been let down - Lovely atmosphere, friendly & fast service, delicious food & drinks. One of the other reasons I visit often is because of the variety of gluten free food available on the menu. If you are after something with a bit of a kick, I recommend the jerk fish & chips! I will be returning back to have more of this as it reminds me of my mum’s masala fish. I hope it never closes as it’s one of my greatest discoveries in Leicester and deserves more business. The prices on the menu are a tad expensive however this can be understood for the quality/variety of the food, service and the whole experience.
Visited today with my 2 children we were just passing and was looking for somewhere to have lunch saw this place and thought wow. Staff really polite and we were seated straight away kids ordered from the kids menu which is cool and I had the triple decker fish finger sandwich it was gorgeous the chips were so nice and crispy just the way I like them kids enjoyed their fish and chips and the homemade lemonade is really nice. Once we had our main the kids had dessert the brownie was a little dry and the ice cream was nice The decor is quite funky and played good music I really like this place deffo worth a visit. Thanks guys keep up the good work!!!
Delicious food, plenty of flavour and good hearty portion sizes. A large selection of veggie, vegan and gluten free options too. Awesome cocktails and a good selection of beers too
Great veggie, vegan and gluten free food. Good decor, prices very reasonable and gorgeous staff! Only criticism was it looked closed and door was hard to find. Consider illuminating it!
Wide selection of interesting and novel takes on a British classic. Menu is full of vegan, vegetarian and of course pescetarian options. Staff are friendly and polite, prices are reasonable. Was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night, but definitely worth a visit. Pictured is the vegan fish and chips with loaded veg fries.
Fantastic friendly restaurant with quite possibly the most amazing vegan menu we have ever seen. We went late afternoon si it was quite quiet.
Can't wait to go there again.

I CANNOT recommend this place enough! I had the vegan fish and chips and it was basically JUST like a fish cake, it was so delicious and better than any other vegan fish and chips I've had. The chunky chips were great, they had skin on and were really tasty. The vegan tartar sauce was really good too and the mushy peas. Had the vegan squid side which was honestly so delicious, the flavour was amazing and it was really like real squid. They're battered mushrooms so the texture is very similar. We were ummming the whole time it was so good. The price was reasonable and so worth it for how good the food is!
The service was great, we had Saffron and she was really nice and chatty and made good recommendations! I will definitely be going there again! :)
Amazing vegan food. Best selection of non vegan/vegetarian/vegan food in a long while. Such a friendly waitress, who was polite and super helpful with recommendations, as well as just being super easy to talk to and make conversation with. The food served was perfect portion size-wise, as well as ridiculously tasty. Food was very reasonably priced, as were the drinks. I could not recommend highly enough. Definitely coming here again.
I've been here a couple of times now, and the latest menu is definitely an improvement. The vegan fish is really very tasty, as are the bowl meals. Everything is fresh and prepared with a bit of love. The air con was also a welcome relief during the British heatwave!
Thoroughly enjoyed the food here, could easily turn peskatarian if I could eat like this everyday. The restaurant has a modern vibe with old style posters of classic British seaside resorts and a fish scale themed bar. Our server was friendly and attentive, making us feel relaxed and comfortable. As for the menu there is plenty of choice for fish and chip enthusiasts and an extensive range of both vegan (having an entire dedicated menu) aswell as gluten free options. Would highly recommend if you enjoy traditional with a twist.
