If you ever tried Disappeared elsewhere and you were disappointed, then Dalwhinnie Place is for you. I've myself tried Dosa many places. However, you can not beat the taste here. So, Tasty, affordable, cosy environment. Highly recommended. Service level gone down they are less customer focus and don't even use polite language such as thankyou.

I absolutely love the food here, Dosas are crispy, Idlis are soft. Everything is freshly prepared with authentic taste. It's a little tight with limited seating but i have never had to wait long for a table. My favourite go to for a hearty South Indian meal!

Food is good from here but some people don’t serve properly or like I got hair in sambhar but they treat like it’s normal hair in food is not normal, we just showed up and they didn’t gave any discount to us.

Best Dosa Ever Tested. Mysore Dosa. It is a must try. The Paneer Butter Masala was so delicious! The food is great and so is the service.

Must say i felt like i was in India …. The taste was so spot on … and the young girl who served us was so helpful and friendly…. She was 💯…. I would have no problem in recommending this place … we had a variety of dishes… but must say the paper dosa was so crispy and so fresh was all the chutney … so please carry on the way you guys are doing’s… Jai Hind….

The service at Dakshin was impeccable. The staff was not only friendly and attentive but also well-versed in explaining the menu and offering recommendations. Our orders arrived promptly.
Each dish we ordered was a burst of authentic South Indian flavours'. From the starters to crispy dosas with the flavourful sambar, every bite was a culinary adventure. Considering the quality of the food, the portion sizes, and the overall dining experience, Dakshin offers excellent value for money. The prices are reasonable.

Best South Indian food in Leicester. The mysore masala dosas are the best. I have been coming here for past 2-3 years and the quality has never dropped. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. If you like vegetarian food especially South Indian food, you must try this place.
