Excellent food and staff.
Very kind,polite and professional. We had a proper italian dinner,and as I'm from Italy,I can say is very hard to taste a food like this in a foreign country. I rate 5 stars because They very deserve it. Buon appetito!

Been a few times now. Quality food from quality ingredients but very pricey. Waiters can be very grumpy also.
Many options. The pizza was delicious. Very good sauce. Had the mussels which were excellent as well as the steak and lobster. All went down exceptionally well. Would definitely go again.
Absolutely delicious! I went during mid-day where there was not much business. The atmosphere is gorgeous, pleasant soft music, not too dim lighting and adequate seating. The service was excellent, the server recommended an excellent sauvignon white to go with my food which was a great choice. I had the carpaccio to start because I love carpaccio…. The cheese seemed to be grated fresh and not a pre-shred cheese selection. This dish was fantastic altogether. For my main, I tackled the chicken calzone which was a fairly large size and definitely worth it. It was delicious, the flavors worked well and it was baked perfectly, the dough was nice and soft and the ingredients were fresh. This also paired well with my wine. If you are looking for Italian food, I must recommend here.
Lovely atmosphere, food was honestly amazing and the best pasta we’d ever had. Recommend the Truffle Ravioli, and the Prawn & Chicken Penne.
The desert plater was also stunning especially at only £5.50 per person.
It was a shame that the service wasn’t quite 100% as both of our starters were completely missed. I wish they’d realise there’s nothing wrong with waiters & a notepad.
The staff need to be much faster at approaching tables especially for pre dinner drinks and payment of bill. In general they were just not visible on the floor.
Good little Italian restaurant in the centre of Leicester. I don't know of many Italian places in the city centre but this was pretty good. Went for a staff night out and everyone enjoyed their meal.
The staff were very friendly and they spoke Italian, which is a surprise when you consider this is a chain restaurant.
If i could give 10* i would.

I am absolutely delighted by this place. The service was superb with Piras, he gave us such great recommendations that I would have had seconds if I had room left to eat. Unfortunately, I did not take the name of our second waiter who was very kind and friendly. The food was to die for!!We got mussels in cream sauce and thinly sliced beef with Parmesan cheese that we couldn’t have enough of. For our mains, we had a pizza and pasta that were both really good, but no where near our starters. We ordered half a bottle of wine that complemented the food perfectly. I don’t remember the name of the dishes, but I do have pictures. Don’t mind my bad photography skills
Just had the most delicious pizza I’ve ever tasted. My wife and I were in Leicester and needed to eat. We found San Carlo on Google maps, checked their website, it looked great so we thought we’d try it. The absolute best decision we could have made! The staff are wonderful, caring and helpful, the chef is clearly a pizza genius, and the price was much lower than I had expected. If I could give San Carlo ten stars I would! Highly recommended! We will be back!!!
