Team are excellent even when they are busy, Carvery has lots of choice (and get price) service from Gordon was especially great.

Food is very reasonably priced £7.99 for a standard carvery is excellent value.
The food itself was as you would expect in a place like this. It isn't a Michelin star, but it was well cooked and tasty.
Good selection on the carvery, well maintained and everything was relatively fresh out.
One of our group also had a burger which they said was pretty good as well.
Kids rounded it off with ice creams and a whopping slab of cake which had them beat as they couldn't finish it.

Special mention to Gordon our greeter and server. A very friendly, cheerful and chatty gentleman. Checked in on us made sure we were all sorted without being overly fussy.
Delicious self-serve carvery with plenty of choice. We turned up without a booking and they accommodated us. Good kids menu although the larger kids portion size is quite small still disappointingly. Lots of tasty cakes and ice cream flavours and there is an indoor kids play area. Nothing for older kids. No outdoor play area. Lots of choice on the menus and plenty if drink choices too. It can get busy and loud so not somewhere for a romantic date, but great with family or friends. Would recommend.
We came without booking and although it was busy our meet and greet Gordon found us a table with no fuss. Food was easy to order from an extensive menu and arrived within 15 minutes. Throughout our visit Gordon was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. All together an enjoyable visit
We came as a family of 4. We enjoyed the visit but could not have done it without the help of Gordon. He was ace!! He is the technical expert who helps us older customers work out how to order from the table. He downloaded the App for me, logged in, used my Blue Light card and showed us how to order.
It was a busy Sunday lunch so well done for supporting us at such a busy time. Service was great, staff were friendly and very efficient. Excellent experience and would definitely recommend to others. Thank you Gordon for making the event special. Great asset to the team!
I'm splitting hairs here, for me it was four and a half stars, the meal was excellent, I had the beer battered fish & chips which was piping hot just like it's meant to be,it was delicious and was well worth five stars on its own, the only flaw as I saw it,they didn't clear the table quick enough after we had finished eating, consequently nobody had a sweet and there was about 25 of us.
Don't take this too badly though I was really impressed with the first course and I will certainly be back, the other thing I noticed was,I saw one person go up to the carvery from our 25,that struck me as unusual, but that could be a trend or we are unusual, I really don't know.

Gordon was quick to seat us, very friendly and helpful, food was delicious (except for the lumpy mash but not usually like that!)

Get carvery and bar. Has an old English pub feel which is good even tho it was a new build. Wheelchair access and disable parking close to the entrance. Vegetarian dishes available. Large portion deserts. Kids play/adventure area to keep them happy. We all had a great experience in a party of 10+ people
A very enjoyable meal, plate was stacked & everything was tasty, left me full & content. Only downside was theres no air inside, was vey hot otherwise a good night👍
