A credit to the great British pub. My wife and I stopped at the Rose and Crown with our 2 children for some lunch. Firstly we received a warm welcome, plenty of smiles and served by staff who wanted to be there!. The pint (or two) of pedigree was well kept and thoroughly enjoyed. My wife had the Salmon and I had the fillet steak whilst the children tucked into Lasagne. We all enjoyed the food, tasty and well presented. I would'nt normally write reviews but we enjoyed the visit so much we felt others should know about the Rose and Crown, well done to the owners!
Hit the spot just fine. Two of us went on a Saturday lunchtime. One of us had gammon, egg and new potatoes and the other had ham, egg and chips. The food was absolutely fine, no problems. We ate in the bar room, sat on a comfy sofa watching football on the TV. Staff were lovely, place was clean and comfortable. We were on our way to a football match at the king power, driving along the A47 so it was a perfect pre-game stop off.
This resturand sells by far the best food I have ever had. The staff are also clean, helpful and kind. I would deffinatley recomend this resturant to anyone and go there again!

Incredible food and great service too. The owners are really hands on and interact with their customers. The chicken lollipop was my favourite and highly recommended. Definitely coming back again for another curry. Bonus point the beer selection is impeccable:)
Decent place with super friendly staff, we went on a Friday without booking, had a pint in the pub then asked for a table for four.
We were shown to our table within 5 minutes, order starters Amritsari fish, chicken lollypop, chilli chips, and a regular mixed grill. Top notch food and very tasty.
We didn't go for mains this time but will definitely be back to try again soon. More pictures to be uploaded in due course.
What an amazing place to eat.
Best meal out in many years. The flavours exploded in your mouth Supreme cooking skills. Wish I lived nearer and would be there all the time. Very reasonable price for huge portions and staff were incredibly polite.
New chef has turned this place around.
Was not expecting food to be so good. Had a demanding bunch of guys ordering everything and all were impressed with the food.
Mixed grills, lamb tava, Manchurian prawns and butter chicken smashed it. In fact all dishes were good.
Great atmosphere in the bar and very friendly owners.
Service was a bit slow in the restaurant but other than that I give it 9 out of 10.
Awesome food last night, portions were great.. Winner winner for me, great tasting food and they had cobra on tap, Will be going back again!!!!

Incredible food. Great staff. They do doggy bags. I'm gutted I was driving.
