We visit quite often but today was our first meal there, usually just coffee and cake. The meal was delicious, the service and friendliness was first rate. We have watched the place grow over the last 12 months and the owner is certainly getting it right and has lots of ideas to expand and improve. I am looking forward to seeing it develop.
It's between a 3 and 4 star for me. I really love how dog friendly it is and that dogs are so welcome. The food is delicious and always warm. The servers are lovely and very friendly. There is a dog section and their own menu, plus outside seating. However there are a couple of disappointing bits about it. The first being that they let people without dogs sit in the dog friendly are which limits the amount of people with dogs able to come in. If it was one or two it wouldn't matter so much but we have been in the dog section where it has been full with people and no dogs. Second the timings of receiving things is always all over the place, we have had someone's food come out and then the other person's food comes out 15-30 minutes later. We will keep coming back because it is overall a nice place but we hope they will tweak some bits to make it even better.
Lovely little garden centre, just having a bit of a revamp. Shoe shop selling sketchers too and gift shop and clothes .Fabulous tea room can sit in or outside and somewhere to sit with your dog too .Great time out with my sister.
Fantastic. We also visited the tearooms and the chef politely allowed us to have something from the breakfast menu after the 11.30 cut off which was very much appreciated 👍 food was fab and the bedding plants are very reasonably priced and super healthy. Would highly recommend. Robins were nesting amongst hats for sale too, a spectacular sight to see mummy Robin taking food back to her babies nestled out of harms way.
Brilliant breakfast here, very dog friendly with a little dog area. Loved it so much got our friends an afternoon tea for their wedding present, Danny the manager was brilliant organised the entire thing for us on his day off!!! Amazing. Most appreciated. Thanks team.

The staff are always friendly and helpful, we have never gone away unhappy with our experience and enjoyed it every time, it's becoming our local go to place to meet up and have food, plus its dog friendly so you can bring your fur babies along too!

What a great place to meet, shop, eat, drink, chill. The cafe is lovely and light, and warm, it’s accessible for buggies and wheelchairs and has a Family room (Disabled toilet & Baby change).
I’ll definitely be back.
The shop is excellent. Cheaper than competitors. The car park could be better. Gravel and stone is annoying enough but taking a fully loaded trolley is hard work.
The cafe was pretty useless. Waited a long time for a coffee and ended up getting a refund. Person behind me got the wrong order.
Very well run ,nice cakes (actually had veg quiche ) & coffee, unfortunately for cycling snacks it's not ideal due to that lunchtime main menu thing prevalent in some independents trying to up sell I suppose.
Lovely tea room.. fantastic wide range of food and drinks available and very good quality, with lovely customer service. They even had a doggy tea room, where you can sit with your dog and both eat.
Only suggestion, the plastic chairs are not comfortable to sit on.
Garden center, had a good range and a few surprises (e.g. euphorbia at £7 🙂).
But, a bit to be desired.
