We came today for Sunday dinner on Father’s Day ... we have been a few places for Sunday lunch and I can honestly say it was in my top 5. The Yorkshire puddings are just � The staff are really friendly and can’t do enough for you, they also cater for the kids which is a real good thumbs up. I got served by a real sweet girl called Emily, a real asset to the company. Would I visit again - for sure �

Service and food amazing! Highly recommend one of the best pub food experiences I have had in a long while we walked in not pre booking and asked for a table for 7. They couldn’t have been more accommodating. I had Brie and beetroot tart. Absolutely gorgeous!
We bike along the canal all the time, we stop at this pub everytime before we bike back home. This pub is situated right on the canal, which also looks over Watermead Park. The staff are always very friendly, great choice of drinks and their food is amazing. Nice big beer garden with a kids play area. Would definitely recommend
Great meal enjoyed by all our party, including the dog, who was made very welcome and was given his own bag of treats! There is also a menu of drinks and ice creams for the dogs. Not all pubs that are dog-friendly are actually dog-welcoming but this one is.
The interior was light and bright and spacious, it is so nice not to be crammed in right next to another group of people but have room to relax and enjoy. Miss Piggy burger was a major highlight!
Nice selection of wines too and plenty to choose from on the main menu plus specials - would highly recommend for excellent quality and generous portions.
Was recommended to go to this pub by the hotel staff at the Ibis hotel and it was awesome .. the food was really nice! Great atmosphere in the pub, very busy .. plus the staff were super friendly .. thanks to the manager for putting up with our banter! 🤣
Sunday lunch was delicious and plentiful, staff very attentive, offered extra veg. Good decorative order, clean toilets. Good location, larhe beer garden, parking available. We will be back.
A fantastic open house situated right by the river soar with a pleasant bright green sunny beer garden. I visited this pub whilst on a bike ride with my partner. The selection of beers, ales, and ciders were very impressive, the cakes also looked fantastic , will certainly visit again.
Great pub with outside seating with designated NO Smoking Tables.
It's has a small play area with tables for when you want to eat drink and watch your kids scream while ignoring them.
Food was good and came fairly quickly. The Sunday menu isn't huge but has a varied selection so should suit all tastes.
Really lovely pub/restaurant with a great outdoor area. Great walking route surrounding it too. A meat eater, a vegetarian and 2 vegans all very happy with our food :) Also dog friendly. Highly recommend
A group of us had a lovely meal today. Plenty of food, all good quality. Excellent service. Dog friendly. Can highly recommend.
