Buddha Bay

Had a private party for my mum’s 50th birthday on Saturday and the food, drinks and service was amazing and a beautiful restaurant!! Everyone had such an incredible time and such a great atmosphere! We couldn’t have asked for anything more from then they did everything we wanted and asked for and went above and beyond!! Thank you so much guys!!

We visited today for my birthday, and it was fabulous! The food was tasty and well-presented, and our waiter was so friendly and attentive and even gave me a free cocktail to celebrate. We didn't mind the wait for food that others have mentioned because it was high quality! The restaurant atmosphere was very relaxed and there was definitely an 'upmarket' experience without the price tag. We'll definitely be back, thank you for a great evening!

What can i say.. this place is really nice. The staff are very friendly and made our private part of 19 really welcome. The food was amazing and no complaints from us. Buddha Bay went out their way to provide a bit of light entertainment (magician) while we were drinking and dining. They accommodate all our needs. They were apologetic as they had another party going off and felt the service may have took some time but we didnt think that at all. We understand how difficult it can be when a venue is fully booked but you gave us a great experience and service. Thanks again and see you again soon.

We work around he corner from Buddha Bay so we decided to have the team lunch and had the lunch bowls to take away, there was 10 of us having them and they were amazing , extremely filling and great quality ingredients . I would definitely recommend the lunch bowls and will be back in the evening to try a sit in meal - great find

Intregued by the name and apperience we decided to check it out. We shared a foccatta bread starter. It came with four sauses: hummus, olive oil and balsamic vinegar and guacamole, and some sause I didn't know although it did have cumin in it. I then had a tofu and beatroot burger with came which outstanding fries. Ok, it might sound weird to rave about the fries (please forgive me, but I am myself a chef by profession) but I wondered if they were tripple cooked. After experiencing those amazing fries I wondered what the chips were like so ordered them. The chips were certainly satisfactory, although not as good as I'd hoped after those perfect fries. But don't let that put you off as they were pretty good by any standards. The decor, while frankly being slightly kitsch is nevertheless well done and as I said the reason why we were drawn in initially. The service was good and the waiter was very welcoming and attentant. All in all it was a good experience and we will certainly be going back and I reccomend it.

We absolutely loved Buddha Bay for a few cosy cocktails the other evening. It had a great atmosphere and I was pleasantly surprised to see that they now have a new vegan menu out, which is quite a rarity in most bars around Leicester. I'll definitely be coming back here soon with a larger group! Thanks to the lovely staff for being helpful with my dietary requirements and making some smashing long Island iced teas!

I have been to Buddha Bay on a number of occasions now and every time I have been staff have been exceptionally welcoming, and not to mention service and food has been on point! I would recommend this place to everyone as it is perfect for any occasion. Thank you to all at Buddha Bay, I will continue to come back and enjoy!
