From the wonderful friendly staff to the amazing delicious food to the ....would highly recommend house red......there is nothing about Leigh bistro that lets us down....we always have a fab meal and always feel that our custom is not only wanted but appreciated.....if only I knew about their New year's eve menu prior to plans......
We had a lovely meal, the goats cheese and beetroot with almonds start was the best one I’ve had by far and the lamb shank and chicken were cooked to perfection, not over done at all which can be easily done. The staff and manager are very attentive and friendly. A lovely touch was watching the manager help an elderly couple cross the road after their meal, it shows they go the extra mile to make you feel welcome! We’re looking forward to returning again.

We had a really pleasant Saturday evening at The Leigh Bistro.
The quality of the food was excellent, the price very reasonable and the customer service was great. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff are extremely accommodating, especially the owner who took time to chat to us which we appreciated.
Not a swanky, pretentious restaurant but an informal bistro with delicious home-cooked food and a good atmosphere the night we visited.
I wish the new owner every success. We will be back very soon without doubt.
Staff were brilliant, cocktails were some of the best I've had & the food was amazing! The pork belly was cooked perfectly & I desperately wanted to finish it all but was too full. Portions were good sizes considering it's a set menu. Will definitely be going again!

We popped in on the spur of the moment last Thursday early evening and we had a lovely meal from the Early Bird menu, our waiter was very friendly and efficient, we will definitely go there again.
Best restaurant in Leigh on Sea. Fresh and qualitive food, excellent service and warm staff... I would highly recommend it!!!

Visited on a Thursday evening for my father’s birthday. Unfortunately there was some kind of fund raising event going on that we weren’t informed about so the restaurant was completely packed and very loud. Absolutely no problem with people raising money for good causes but we would have picked another venue to have a quiet birthday meal, had we been warned beforehand. That being said, the service was still fine, although the mains took a long time to come out, but the food was excellent. We had the Tempura Pork Belly and the Goats Cheese and Beetroot tart to start, both were very good. For mains my father had the lamb shank which he very much enjoyed. My partner had the duck breast on the bed of noodles which, although looked rather bland in its presentation, I’m assured was delicious. I went for the Sirloin steak which was cooked the way I wanted and very generously portioned and was served with a superb peppercorn sauce. My favourite part of the meal though was undoubtedly the dessert! The Belgian waffle with ice cream was amazing, can’t recommend it highly enough. Good food and reasonably priced. We will certainly visit again but hopefully on a quieter evening.
Stumbled across this place last Sunday lunchtime. So glad we did. Welcome was warm and inviting, the atmosphere was authentic, the staff were patient and attentive and the food was amazing. There were 6 of us and everyone said how much they enjoyed their chosen dishes. Portions were generous, tasty and well presented.
Our daughter has just moved to the area, so we will be back.

We've just paid our first visit there and had a really good evening. They had a 3 piece group playing for a lot of the evening doing songs from 60s to 80s mainly and they went down very well with us and the other diners. As did the food. Our group of 6 had a variety of dishes and we all enjoyed them. I look forward to going again.

Lovely place for reasonably priced food, nice atmosphere.
Giovanni the owner gave us a warm welcome for me, my partner and Grandson as we sat down. Food was great and drinks were priced well. We had a Groupon voucher for the 3 course (£29) for 2 people which was great value. We had a 17.30 booking so first ones there. Give yourself a bit more time to get parked as not always easy.
OMG the most amazing place. I decided to have the prawn cocktail which I would recommend but the other starters looked very nice. We then had the pork belly with crackling and chicken roast dinner. It was the best. I will be going back.
Have just celebrated my husbands 70th birthday today with our family. Cannot fault this restaurant at all. Made my husbands birthday just perfect. Even catered well for the grandsons Food and service were brilliant and we weren’t rushed at all. Will definitely return
We got a Groupon voucher as a gift and we had a two course meal here. There was a fair selection of vegetarian/fish dishes, the food was well present and very tasty, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere quiet but nice so we'll come again!
Went for our wedding anniversary the food was great as usual my husband said it was the best steak he's ever had which I tasted I have to agree and I don't usually eat red meat. Seabass cooked to perfection and great service
