Popped in for a bite to eat while away. Great selection of ales for £1.50 on a tuesday. Friendly staff, I was served by Peter and Roxanne they were canny. I ordered the large mixed grill which was decent for the price. Steak was cooked perfectly. Would visit again.
Good food, great value drinks, relaxing atmosphwre
Did not eat here so can't comment on food but it was clean and tidy, toilets well kept and bar staff polite and efficient. Fair selection of beers too
Amazing place and staff, I was offered stuff out the back when I was there which but me off but would go back, its very clean and welcoming and easy access for wheelchair users, also easy to get to the shopping center with in a min walk and it right by the bus station so easy access, will go back again

Good pub, good food and good feel to the place, always have the football or the boxing on when the big ones are playing and the staff and door men are always friendly and never rude which is a big plus for me and is one of the reasons I've made this my local go to pub for food, entertainment or a few beers!
Really nice pub good food decent barstaff real ales second to none and good value. £1.50 a pint all day Tuesday sky sports on all day also BT sport as well.
There's no whistles and bells about this place ... it's a traditional pub ... staff are friendly and for the price the meals are great value rember it's a pub not a 5star restaurant ... great food and drinks offers ideal place for a working lunch or place to meet
Excellent food and drinks at very busy time with the Lionel Richie concert but only waited 15 mins for food which was great Cooked to perfection Toilets were a mess and some doors don't lock but overall a good experience
Place friendly altho in decor looking tried could do with an update food was edible atmosphere friendly a true city centre pub on whole a good experience
