Fabulous place to eat....the food is gorgeous and the staff are so friendly and helpful.....had a birthday celebration for my other half and the staff even sang happy birthday.......absolutely great place

Couldn’t have asked for a friendlier welcome at this pub. Went with a few friends after a long walk it was it was perfect. Really nice atmosphere, great service and brilliant Sunday roast. And all on a day when they were short staffed. Will definitely return next time I’m in Lewes.
Really nice pub with lovely staff. We often go here for a pre or post cinema bowl of chips and a bevvy. Cosy welcoming pub vibes, but not stuffy or dark and they're usually playing an album on the turntable. Cute patio and garden area with twinkley fairy lights. There's a small carpark to the side.
One of my favourite places to come after a hike across the Downs. Staff are friendly and accommodating, knowledgeable about their produce. Decor is eccentric and fits the vibe of this charming boozer. Garden is amazing. Hidden gem, worth the visit.
Had a couple of meals and drinks over a week on holiday. Very good, and substantial, Sunday lunch and good standard menu and specials. Good outdoor seating with heaters. Will definitely visit again if we are in Lewes.
